Thank you @somastage for having us at this year’s Broadway in the Park! It’s always one of our community’s best annual events and this year there were over 5000 people in attendance. 😳 Thanks also to @livelovelens for doing such an amazing job capturing how much fun we had singing “Elephant Love Medley” from Moulin Rouge. by @allisonjp23

Get ready to rumble! On Thursday, August 13th, Songwriters Nikko Benson (Nikola, ElseWhere) and Eli Bolin (Original Cast Album: Co-op, John Mulaney & the Sack Lunch Bunch) face off in a no-chords-barred, no-punchlines-pulled match of musical theater mayhem in Bolin v. Benson: A Musical Theater Deathmatch, presented as part of the Matchbook Festival at the Greenwich House Theater.

See these two titans attempt to dominate the ring as their talented friends fight desperately to hold them back... are they attempting to defeat each other? Or the very foundation of musical theater itself? The only clear winner is you, the audience.

Special guests include Nick Blaemire, Kim Blanck, Nikki James, Andrew Kober, Allison Posner, Heath Saunders, Kuhoo Verma, Natalie Walker, Barrett Weed, & more!

🎶 Make your Saturday night a fun one with FREE live music in Spiotta Park 🎶

Downtown After Sundown continues this Saturday Aug 1 from 6:30–8:30 PM with Eli Bolin & Allison Posner!

Eli and Allison have been making music together for nearly two decades, bringing tight harmonies, memorable melodies, original songs, and sing-along covers to stages across New Jersey and New York City. You may remember them from last summer’s Under Cover Music Fest, where they performed a full set of Fleetwood Mac favorites.

Eli is an Emmy-nominated songwriter who has worked with John Mulaney and written music for Sesame Street for more than 15 years. Allison is a familiar face from Maplewood’s SOMA Rocks and recently appeared in the off-Broadway production The Magnificent Seven.

Bring a chair, grab dinner or a sweet treat from your favorite downtown spot, and enjoy a summer evening of live music in the heart of South Orange.

A special thank you to NJ American Water, presenting sponsor of Downtown After Sundown and supporter of free summer concerts in downtown South Orange. by @allisonjp23
