First looks at Franklin the Turtle (it’s about drugs). Limited run.

Fleabag meets Black Swan… and a turtle. Back from clown school in France and workshopping her play in London, @allisonsonson__ plays 8 characters in this semi-autobiographical solo show about addiction, loss, and survival with a “commanding presence” and “raw intensity” only to be seen at The Tank for a limited run, Aug 9–10.

$15 tickets available in bio. Use code: TURTLESRULE

Today is the day. I wrote this play for anyone who has never felt seen. I see you. You are loved. I’m going to go listen to Britney Spears like little Allison would do and I’ll see you on the stage.

While I was in London, I had the opportunity to speak with Brooklyn-born actress Alison Sonson and hear more about her journey as an artist.

Now she’s bringing her one-woman show, “Franklin the Turtle,” to New York this weekend — August 9th & 10th.

Alison trained at the Philippe Gaulier School in Paris and takes on 8 different characters in this one-woman performance.🔥

If you’re in NYC, this is one show you don’t want to miss!
