The Opening - a nourishing space for leaders, creatives, and spiritual seekers to align to their own Source knowing with clarity, confidence, and ease.

People ask if they need to commission a painting to work with me and the answer is *no* - though this part of my practice has largely been word of mouth, speakeasy style.

But this work is wanting to be a bit louder now, so I’m listening.

Through The Opening what I see time and time again:

Transformation can be easy.
When you are clear, grounded, nourished, aligned, and connected to your own inner compass - life meets you in the most delightful, inspiring, and surprising ways.

And I can help get you there, not just faster, but truer too.

Single session or a series of 6.

For information on this work that you won’t find anywhere else (for now) reach out. x

I spent the end of July in residency @jthtucson and still feeling the quiet, the magic, the beauty, the awe, the fierceness, the frailty of the desert.

Spent with 8 other artists and dreamers. It’s rare that you meet all at once so many open and kind people, I love thinking about how people scattered from all over can weave together for just a moment, and it reminds me that no one touches you so gently they do not leave a mark.

Thank you all! Especially @ayeshaophelia for bringing this residency to me and in general being an adventure inciter and igniter!

Thank you Rich and Sara of @thejoshuatreehouse for your generosity, and care, and for pouring into all of us. Words can’t express!

Arizona’s unparalleled sunsets! Genuinely one of my favorite things - the ephemeral singularity, the magic of liminality, the burst of beauty as the thing that’s ending meets the thing that’s beginning.

We all got to play with Cyanotypes! Thank you @andrea.koesters for giving us a peek into how you time bend x

A custom meditation painting. Scavenger hunt - If you’re ever in Tucson - say hi and flip it over to read the mantra 🌀

Sisters.

Since I wasn’t there focused on my regular painting practice (more on that another time) I started sketching again, making just to make, play, and in general clear the pipes. Inspired me to bring a sketch practice back with me.

Time out of time.

Part of what I loved is how freely we all talked about death there. Just light and true. And a part of life.

All things must pass.

The whole crew. What a time! Thank you thank you thank you! by @allisonstrickland_

I just keep saying this birthday was one for the books!
A surprise birthday dinner!? @davidcolombini you are a KING. I am still flying high.

From all the love near and far!

Thank you to everyone who sent a message, a poem, a gift!

Walking into this new year KNOWING:

- Friends are abundance.

- Being alive is a gift!

- Your inner experience shapes your outer world!

- When there is no enemy within there is no enemy without.

- After a stretch of hard times, it is VITAL to rebuild your capacity and trust for joy, softness, receiving, bit by bit breath by breath.

- Letting people love you is expansive and beyond worth the occasional discomfort it brings!

- Everything changes. That is both tough and beautiful.

- I feel my Mom in all of you who care about, and for me and I can’t tell you what a gift that is!

- True beauty is a lifeline, we must find it everywhere we can.

- Thank you life for teaching us how to die. Thank you death for teaching us how to live.

Thank you Thank you Thank you ALL!

This poked some buttons on the other app lol … now look, you know I know we don’t live in a vacuum. This about cultivating personal power, not control, not individualism! Spiritual maturity so that we can really relate to our people without our hungry ghosts as a middle man. xo

New site up now! allisonstrickland.CO to learn more about my 1:1 if you want to step into temple space that:

Connects, spirit, mind, and heart.

Helps you hear the call of your soul clearer.

Works with your fears and longings, so you can close the gap between what you want and how you’re living.

Is a field for radical honesty and emotional clarity.

Where you tap into your own direct insights and epiphanies.

That bridges intuitive insight with neuroscience backed processes.

For real change, that happens fast.

This invitation is the culmination of years of devotion, study, and practice. Of showing up to the initiations and transformations in my own life. And accessing my own authentic power through surrender, presence, listening, and action. Again and again and again, because it’s a on-going practice, not a destination.

My call is to help people remember their True Essence and reconnect to their own Source Wisdom, so that they can live into their Fullest Expression.

If you want that, and are ready to act on it, then it’s our time. Reach out.🪞

Introducing: Allison Strickland (@allisonstrickland_).

Allison is a Brooklyn-based artist. Her practice includes intuitive readings that create a spiritual frameworks to explore emotional, energetic, and life patterns. Her works begin with preparing the canvas in a color that she aims to meditate on, after which she applies rhythmic dash marks in a talismanic process, repeating them like mantras for healing and transformation.
