Still in awe of how the Lord has moved in the past year🤍 If I had known how good the Lord's plan was, I would have never of tried to make one up myself.

God brought the perfect man for me at the perfect time. I didn't have to date to know Ezekiel was the one.

Did I date before him? Yes.
Looking back, do I wish I hadn't? Absolutely.

Don't waste time or energy or heartache or sacrifice your relationship with Christ to date before you know they're it. Get to know everyone just as a friend, if there's no natural relationship just in friendship adding all of the other elements is pointless.

Most importantly, never cross boundaries in your dating season. God set those lines there for a purpose. And I can absolutely testify, it is worth the waiting.

110 days until I marry my best friend🤍

Ezekiel Paul Jackson, I fall in love with you more and more every single day. I prayed for YEARS for a man as amazing as you, and the Lord gave me even better when He blessed me with you.

My best friend, my fiancé, my future husband, and my forever. The person I get to serve and glorify the Lord with for the rest of life. Every prayer answered all in one person.

You truly are the most Christlike man. You honor the Lord and serve Him with every detail of your life. You care so deeply for everyone and everything around you. Taking love and sharing it in everything you do.

You work hard and love harder. What a gift, honor, and blessing it is to be your person. Forever with you still won't be enough🫶🏼 But here's to cherishing every moment together.

There's plenty of areas of life I could have done better, one of them is dating. The best advice I could give to a young gal waiting for her person and the Lord's timing is IT'S WORTH THE WAIT.

Don't settle for someone who isn't in love with God first. Don't settle for someone who doesn't love and receive love well. And definitely don't settle for someone who won't honor and prioritize purity. If he loves you and He loves God, he will WAIT.

Patience is a fruit of love. Don't settle, this is your encouragement that you don't have to.

Don't hurry through your life. Don't become so busy that you no longer live in the moment. Every day should be enjoyed. If you are constantly waiting for the weekend or the next season or event, you'll miss the majority of life.

All those answered prayers are there to be enjoyed. Thank the Lord for where you are currently and find the beauty in today.

To the father that didn't have to be... thank you for choosing to be my father and to love me as your own daughter.

God knew just what that little 4 year old girl would need.

I was 9 when my bio dad went to prison, and 17 when he went to be with Jesus. But I was 4 when God blessed me with you.

Dad, you are strong and kind and you consistently put others first. You work harder than most, and serve in every area you can find. You are wise and filled with sound advice and knowledge. You talk with intentionality, and when you do speak, everyone in the room listens.

You taught me to drive, how to apply for college, how to budget, how to share, love family well, and how to listen. You walked me down the field for high-school and college homecoming, walked me to the stage for graduations, and walked me down the isle to the love of my life.

Proverbs 4:23 and Deuteronomy 7:26 both tell us to protect our minds and our homes. The Bible is very clear on just how cautious we need to be to protect ourselves.

It is so crucial to surround yourself with friends who are like minded. Surround yourself with a community of people who love the lord. Not people who love church, or are good at following rules, people who are genuinely in love with God. People who are going to push you to serve and honor the Lord in every decision you make. Christianity is more than just going to church on the sunday or reading your bible. Being a christian is living out your faith in the public and private.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?

Sometimes trusting God looks like remembering His goodness. Take time to think over the many times He's already come through in your life. Not once we're you ever lacking. The Lord has been faithful, there is no reason to not trust Him now.
