2002 Arrived to the Fleet.

1st Battalion 7Th Marines
Alpha Company 2nd Platoon.
1st Squad.

First time I learned to shoot was in the Marine Corps.
Marksman Badge aka “Pizza Box”

They gave me M249 SAW Machine Gun.
Everything was grazing fire. 🔥

A jarhead was born.

Deployed to Iraq.
Invaded Iraq.

When we relieved 3/7, I saw it with my own eyes. Men who had nothing left. A blank stare. No desires. Nowhere to go.

After that deployment I saw it in my own eyes. Its a battle. To even admit it.

That’s the death of will. And it doesn’t stay overseas. It follows a lot of us home.

It sounds like why get up, why eat, why brush your teeth, nothing matters.

That voice is the enemy. Fighting it is the battle, every single morning.

All Knowledge is veteran-owned and built for men who are still in that fight.

Every piece in the shop carries a reminder: you’re not done, and your will is still yours to take back. Wear it on the days you need it most.

GROWTH IS NOT LINEAR.

They sell you a staircase. Step, step, step. Clean. Easy. A straight line to the top.

That’s a lie.

Real growth looks like a heart monitor. You climb. You get comfortable. Then life hits you and you hit the floor.

Maybe it’s a shallow fall. Maybe it’s the kind that takes everything. The marriage. The job. The man you thought you were.

Here’s what nobody tells you: the fall is not the end of the story. It’s the middle of it.
You crawl back to where you were. You climb a little higher. Then you fall again. And you get up again.

When times are good, we drift. From God. From the work. From the people who matter. When times are bad, we come home.

We talk about death because it’s real. We talk about chaos because we live in it. We don’t sell perfection. We sell the will to get back up.

You messed up? Good. Now you know. Get up. Start walking.

We’re all in chaos of some kind. The men who seek knowledge are the ones who climb out stronger.

Passion is fire, and fire doesn’t care what it burns.

A man gets insulted, and he’s ready to go to war. A woman looks at him wrong, and he’s ready to burn the house down. His pride gets bruised in front of the wrong crowd, and he loses a ten-year friendship in ten seconds. He tells himself he’s defending his honor. He’s feeding his ego.

Passion makes a man feel righteous. That’s the trap. The anger feels like truth, the rage feels like courage, and by the time it cools he’s standing in the ashes of something he built, asking how it happened.

Not every fight is yours. Not every insult deserves blood. A wise man picks his wars like a general picks his ground, and he walks away from the ones that cost more than they pay.

Feel the fire. Don’t hand it the wheel. Take ten seconds, let reason speak, and then decide if the war is worth the dead.

Most aren’t.

It was not pretty, I shot like 💩 , I think I was nervous, which is hilarious, I thought this guy isn’t yelling me, “GET BACK IN THE FIGHT”

The guy was calm, cool, collected, professional.

“Love everyone” fits on a bumper sticker,
but life doesn’t fit on one. Every man learns
where love ends and pain begins, and the
lesson is rarely free.

He pays for it with a betrayal, a lie from a brother, a woman who took everything he offered and left him bleeding on the floor.

The pain isn’t the mistake.
The mistake is handing your heart to everyone and being shocked when someone crushes it. A man who loves without discernment is giving away the one thing he can’t afford to lose.

So love hard, but make them earn it. Anyone can say the words. Only the ones who stood in the fire with you get the real thing.

Passive/Avoidance Trap of Leadership

Passive leadership is the quiet abandonment of responsibility.

When a leader refuses to make difficult decisions, confront problems, or establish standards. We see it all the time and I have been apart of it.

Chaos fills the void.

Leadership is not about holding authority; it is about having the courage to exercise it when it matters most.

Waiting on the problem to solve it self is not leadership, or waiting for someone else to voice it, or face it and fix it is not leadership either.
