I always heard you can’t love anyone until you love yourself and I always felt I loved and put everyone first before myself way better, But I have come to know ,, Until you attend to God you cannot love yourself or anybody else because God IS Love, The Producer

1 year sober today from alcohol, this is a vulnerable post and I feel called to share,, I have seen posts about people being a year sober and I always wondered if they ever slipped up or they completely went a year straight and I’m going to be honest I have slipped up 2-3 times during this on occasion but never went back into it fully and I’m not ashamed to share that because imma keep it real but it has been a full year since I surrendered it to God and gave him my life, I used to drink every single day all day for years and I hated my life and dealt with heart aching anxiety and depression my whole life and I was sobbing begging Jesus to take my craving and addiction away from it completely all while I was drinking to cure my hangover anxiety in prayer, I was completely in a black pit that I created for myself and one day the drinking didn’t take my panic attacks-hangover anxiety away and that’s when I knew I couldn’t handle it anymore, I was so overwhelmed and exhausted crying my eyes out while having panic attacks the whole time and I ended up fasting from it and put all my focus on him and he has taken my craving and taste for it away completely and has turned my life around for the better and I see and feel it every single day, me slipping up wasn’t because of craving it I just let my body and thoughts win over what I know is right and then that turned into guilt and feeling like I could never live up to what he has for me and I feel things like that try to happen to get you to turn back to your old ways,, When he takes away what you begged for him to don’t turn back to celebrate or thinking you’ve come this far you’ll be okay just for a day , that’s not how it works and you know it if you ever struggled with anything before and I just want to give him all the Glory that he deserves he truly saved my life and gave me a new one that I walk in everyday that’s not who I am this is just my personal experience within my life and I’ve been through so much most people would have given up in and I have given up plenty of times and he picked me up every single time, He saw what I couldn’t and I am forever grateful , this is all for Him,, by @alllkindsofberrys

I been talking about 2016 since 2016 the people and the love that took me in under their wing and surrounded me shaped my life and me into the person that I’ve grown to be and I couldn’t be more thankful it was truly my favorite year and I reminisce and tear up about it quite often it was definitely one for the books by @alllkindsofberrys
