This "Rhyme on my mind" prompt was inspired by my recent enjoyment of @tedlassofansofficial (another hopeful mustachio'd gentleman) Trent Crimm (the independent) was the prompt And my rhyme was Ben Grimm (The Thing from Fantastic Four) as previous winner @shayhybrid guessed. but for personal relevance and swagger, I chose the Homie and longtime collaborator, Rhode Island MC @drentparty who suggested "Drent's HIM"! so he's getting some new stickers and a little note in the mail!, Go check out his new single "telephone" that he just dropped! tune in next rhyme! once a week in my stories I challenge you to guess the rhyme on my mind! comment your favorite rhymes for "Trent Crimm"! -Bruce/AllOne taken in Long Island, NY by @allonevoice

Congrats Rhyme On My Mind ep. 2 winner @shayyyrose9 Who suggested my favorite rhyme for "rainfall" "paintball" although the one I had in my head was 8-Ball, that was my favorite suggestion! (Shout out Emily who also suggested this but won ep. 1!) Some AllOne stickers comin your way! Some others I had in my head were: Cave walls, play ball, Baseball Great Wall, take off, prank call, napalm, kate moss, nate dogg, chainsaw, Madoff, cake boss.... Suggest more in the comments! Something @kavi.tv and I talk a lot about with multisyllabic rhyming is that vowels are really the main source of the melody in the words and produce the bulk of the sounds that we are rhyming in phrases, and you can be a little softer and go astray with the consonants and get more near-rhymes out of those that still work, particularly in a musical context. Fun fact: I use this rhyme pattern in the second verse of my AllOne song "Rattled!" (Www.allonevoice.bandcamp.com/track/rattled) Note: the winning word isn't my best rhyme or my favorite one, and it's not the only one I had in my head, just the one that I had at the time that I was fixing it on as the winning word! Five gigs in four days ✅! WOOOF! Lightning in a bottle, I am battery powered by the amperage of muse-spurred urgency. Swipe for a handful of the dozens of poems I wrote in the last four days! I had so many profound experiences, crying and hugging strangers and making the rent on time thanks to my art and generous community… What a blessing and an honor!
