On this week’s episode of Trailblazers, @allraiseorg CEO, @paigehbuckner shared something that stuck with me:

“We want it to feel NORMAL that women, non-binary folks, and people of color are in the room. Not exceptional.”

Not celebrated as rare.
Not labeled as different.
Just… normal.

Because the real goal isn’t to give anyone a leg up.
It’s to grow the pie for everyone.

One of the most powerful ideas from our conversation was this:

Titles don’t equal power.

You can double the number of people with impressive titles…
…but if they don’t have real influence, real capital, or real decision-making power, progress stalls.

And that’s why Paige emphasized something simple but powerful:

Data matters. Stories matter. And representation matters.

Not because it looks good.
Because it makes businesses better.
Because it unlocks opportunities that would’ve been missed.
Because it expands who gets to build the future.

Last week, I had the honor of moderating the "Inside the Partner Seat" panel at an incredible International Women's Day event hosted by @goldenstatewarriors, @allraise, and @carta at the Chase Center. I had a blast!

I sat alongside three powerhouse women who opened up about how they entered venture, built credibility, and earned their seats at the table:

March is Women’s History Month, but we’re focused on the future. 🚀✨

Teamed up with @dubscommunity and @allraiseorg for an investor-focused afternoon at the Chase Center to bridge the gap between performance and recognition.

The stats don’t lie: diverse founding teams outperform, and women are becoming the major market makers of the next decade.

By bringing together established Bay Area principals of VC firms and students from @ucberkeleyofficial and @stanford, we facilitated direct access to senior women investors to provide the visibility and perspective needed to navigate the path into venture capital.
