I can honestly say the last two years have been the most challenging two years of my life. But as I sit right now on one of the most remote and beautiful islands on earth; I cannot help but think of how loving God is. The fact that he literally cares about every single detail in our lives is unbelievable. His love for us is so incredibly wide and deep we cannot even fathom it. Our lives should be all about giving him glory because he created us for just that and he deserves everything we have. Knowing where I’ve been to where I am now is just so beautiful. I will never ever forget what Jesus did for me and what he has done for us all. Life truly is a blessing. 🙏🏼 Thank you to @debbieclark_art for always illustrating the Father’s heart for everyone of us. by @allthe_glory

If you notice, I haven’t posted a photo of myself on Instagram in 2 years. There have been reasons behind it and I was fortunate enough to share my testimony a few weeks ago which I will be posting as my next post. It also shows where I was two years ago with a few images as well showing the extremity of what happened to me and how the Lord has changed my life and so graciously allowed me to be here today which I am so grateful for. I only seek to share hope through what I’ve been through and help others.

I’ve done a lot wrong in my life but one thing I don’t claim to be is perfect. I still am working on myself, growing, unlearning things and just wanting to learn how to Love others the way the Lord loves us all. If I’ve wronged you in any way I truly do ask you for forgiveness and know I am working to become a more loving, caring person 🙏🏼 by @allthe_glory

The Bible in the order it happened

I built something for anyone who wants to go deeper in God’s Word. 🕊️

It’s called The Study. A free app where you read through the whole Bible in the order it actually happened, one day at a time, starting at Genesis 1.

You get your own private journal for every single day. Write down what God is showing you. Go at your own pace. No pressure. No falling behind.

Read it the way it unfolded

Why chronological? And why the NIV?

When you read the Bible in the order it happened, it all starts to fit together. Job sits right beside Genesis. The Psalms land in the middle of David’s life. The prophets speak right beside the kings they were sent to. The four Gospels become one story.

We use the NIV One Year Chronological Bible because honestly, it’s the only one we’ve found that’s broken down by the day. Every day has its own reading, so you never study too much or too little. Just enough to sit with what God is saying.

I may not be perfect and I never will be. But as I go deeper and deeper and as I spend more time with the Lord I am truly realising the weight of what obedience to God means like I never ever have before.

It’s not even about you. It’s not even about me. It’s not actually even about what he wants to do in and through you.

It’s actually got nothing to do with you at all and it’s got everything to do with him. Jesus never ever took one bit of Glory for himself. Ever. He glorified his Father in Heaven in every single thing that he did. Yet somehow we believe it’s about us. We are told we are being made daily as believers to become more like Christ.

Do we really understand what that looks like and what the weight of that really means? I’m talking to myself as well.

I wrote this song when I was in a very dark place in my life. @johnlhomm posted a clip that gave me such hope and this song came about because of that clip.

The song is entitled - John 11 vs 35. It is based off the scripture where Jesus weeps upon hearing about Lazarus’s death. Jesus truly weeps for us. He loves us more than we could ever imagine.

This song speaks of the masks we all wear. We just don’t want to share those dark truths with the world which is ok.

Over the course of the next few months I will be releasing my first worship album. It will be raw. It will be ugly. It will contain never seen before footage of me in very dark spaces.

But the beauty in this all. There is redemption only because of The Cross and what Jesus did and the resurrection.

My entire life I have given everything to please others. To be accepted. To feel loved and to be loved. Over the years I have truly come to know only Jesus can ever give me that complete fulfilment of love that never changes or breaks.

My entire being has been broken under the weight of my sin. The weight of my actions for years. I have been through extremely dark moments the last few years. Almost taking my life simply due to my own sin. Due to the things I’ve done to others. The way I’ve hurt others.

But the greatest gift I’ve ever come to know is the Forgiveness, Love, Grace and Mercy that God has shown me.

My entire life I owe to him. I am not perfect and I’m ok with that. But everything I do going forward is for his glory and none for my own. I owe him my life and I’m not afraid to show it.

From the depths of my heart. I am so sorry if I’ve hurt you in any way and I truly mean that. I pray you can forgive me for the things I’ve done and know that I’m working daily on myself to be more like Christ and to truly show the world who he really was in any way I can.
