In the current funding climate, many organisations are finding it hard to access the funding they need to deliver their work. We spoke to Mohammed Towhasir from Become United to learn how partnerships and working with other organisations has helped them grow, access different funding and become more resilient. Meet ClimbMuz - one of the komoot x All The Elements Community Fund recipients! ClimbMuz is a climbing group that provides Muslim women, ethnic minority groups and people of colour with a safe space to explore the world of climbing. They plan to use the komoot x All The Elements Community Fund to run navigation and outdoor leadership training for their facilitators. Through the training participants will gain confidence not only in climbing, but also in hiking to crags, reading routes, understanding terrain and feeling that the outdoors is a place where they belong.
