✨Join us for the opening celebration of our first exhibition of the year on September 30th from 5 - 8pm!✨ "I will carry you over on my back," this year’s iteration of our annual fall MFA show, mediates on accumulation, the underground, labor & capacity, and the movement of systems and objects toward loss, disrepair, and failure. Spanning performance, installation, sound art, and found object sculpture, we look forward to sharing all that Jayden Dukes, Gaeun Kim, Cameron McGaff, and Skye Amber O’Brien have been working on. Paired with the exhibition, the cohort has produced a publication featured a commissioned essay by Troy Sherman. The publication will printed in an edition of 300 and will be available for free in the gallery. Be the first to get a copy by attending the opening party. by @allthefireart

Halfway through Graduate School and wanted to reflect and share some work! Being a full time artist has been an exciting challenge. Teaching undergraduate students as the Professor of record was incredibly humbling. I’m learning and growing exponentially throughout every risk I take and every mistake I make because I believe in the power of the journey. Knee deep in thesis research, I’m developing ideas and opinions that are evolved and supported. I am inspired by the beauty of the natural world and how we experience it in similar and different ways. More to come ✨ Thanks for looking! #art #gradschool #universityofwashington #3d4m by @allthefireart

The Secret World Inside My Chest ✨ I found this magical chest on the side of the road and transformed it into a tiny glow in the dark world with some glass art and flowers. Don’t forget the dirt and glitter 😉 🤷‍♀️ by @allthefireart
A little beautification experiment in the wild… what makes something beautiful? Is beauty a subjective or objective experience? Or! Rather! Is it a fleeting, transient experience that takes place between object and viewer? Does it encourage a conversation? Combining cultivated roses with futile tree stumps felt important today. Whether they whither, well, that’s inevitable. The connection created and captured will live on past the life of the flowers. I’m curious about that- Life after death… existing outside of the present moment.. how do we capture something and make it last? How do we immortalize the beauty of an experience? If we approach time in a non-linear way, then the possibility to live forever exists- forever in our minds and hearts. #gradschool #hasme #questioningeverything by @allthefireart

“Say It With Your Chest” 🌙🌼☀️ Glass, Paint, Found Objects 2026 What Makes You Happy? Say It With Your Chest! Sometimes it’s difficult to express myself with the right words, and it’s definitely a critique I have been struggling with here in grad school. This piece contemplates the relationships between my personal narrative, aesthetics, and composition. I believe that there is something beautiful when I give found, discarded objects a new life through my sculpture practice. I also enjoy incorporating glass into the work because its materiality reflects the human experience. We as beings are also dangerous when heated, fragile and sharp, and interact with the environment in exciting and complicated ways. This is a direction and I am excited about it??? ✨ #sculpture #tableau #art #gradschool by @allthefireart

“I know the empathy born of despair. I know the fluidity of thought, the expansive beautiful mind that mania brings… It is quicksilver and often poison. There has always existed some kind of psychic butcher who works the scales of transcendence and weighs the bloody cost of true art” #glassart by @allthefireart
Happy Sunday my friends! 🔥 Here is some art for your viewing pleasure. I am investigating, experimenting, and exploring various technical and conceptual topics with my work in grad school. It is an exciting wild ride! Thanks for looking, xo ☀️🤟 by @allthefireart
