Nothing really on today. No swell. Wind too west for the usual run. So I went and played in the bumps caused by wind over tide at the head. They don’t last long - a few hundred metres or so, so you pump back in and go back to the start and repeat. So mad being able to catch waves that don’t even break on @flite.lab Amp. I’d been out on my normal setup and didn’t get a single wave in 30 minutes. The amp turned what would have been a terrible session into something half decent! My first foil was a Slingshot Infinty. I remember it used to breach if you even came close to the propwash behind a boat. Fast forward 5 years and @signaturefoils Arc 970 lets you actually play in the propwash. It’s so stable you barely feel the turbulence. It’s a really surfy wing too, so fun to ride!
