wow wow wee wow - *!!the first part of story time!!* where do i start? i've been slowly processing the incredible opportunity i recently had at @libfestival to take over the artclave's gallery as the resident artist (as well as paint the entire roller rink).
•
as soon as i saw the opportunity, i knew i had to ask @allthethingzz if she would co-create the space with me. 2 1/2 years ago i landed in san diego and i knew i needed an art studio- a complete stranger and internet friend turned bestie @neonthink let me use his studio over at @allthethingzzspace while he traveled. i quickly found myself at home here- expanding into a bigger studio and spending most days painting in my studio.
•
@allthethingzz would come into my studio space (both of us creating into the night, consistently) she would ask me if it's ok to create art based on my paintings- and would share beautiful hanging installations. pieces that made me feel like my paintings came alive. her vision and ability to bring ideas to life has always blown my mind- when she has an idea she completely sees it through til the end.
•
there's no one else i could imagine have less than a month to bring this entire vision to life with- so many sleepless nights, one of them bringing our collab Strange Girls to life- 10 wonderfully strange children created by us. one of our beloved Banessa Juls was adopted at @libfestival but we still have 9 ready to find their forever home.
•
DM us to adopt ::)

As an artist, Umbrella Weekend holds a special place in my story. @afternoonumbrellafriends, have not only played a significant role in helping me establish ALLTHETHINGZZ Space, Umbrella Weekend is the only festival that has provided me with the opportunity to create art installations that are entirely my own. My favorite things I’ve ever made, the art I care the MOST about and what I look forward to being able to continue to make one day. For this and so many other reasons I’m endlessly grateful for the Afternoon Umbrella Friends and the experiences they work so hard to curate🥰✨

If you’ve been you know the magic, Umbrella Weekend is one of the best festivals around. As an expert in FUN I can say with confidence it’s going to be so much fun! Don't hesitate – get your tickets now! See ya on the dance floor 🪩 by @allthethingzz

Shoutout to @yayfuncatherine for another year of being the star behind the scenes of @sandiegosantacon !!! 🌟 🤶
Catherine organized a big team of volunteers on-site and at @allthethingzzspace multiple days before the event to make the Christmas magic happen, bringing all her visions to life! 🎅
She does the most to make sure every year looks better than the last, including months of planning and preparation.
We are all so proud of her and thankful for bringing us together to spread holiday cheer and make new friends doing it!!!
More pics and videos to come! ❤️ 🍬 🎁

I realized today that I have been a Hokie fan for as long as I knew what it was to be a fan of anything and I was, and still to this day am, endlessly proud to be a Virginia Tech graduate and lifelong Hokie…..WELP today was the first day I ever I actually got a picture with my pal, the Hokie Bird!! 😂 My mom’s best friend said “Welllll, you were way too cool for that before now” #notwrong #hokieproud #virginiatech4life #losingisforwinners by @allthethingzz

just realized i’ve pretty much never posted the true brilliance of my majestic lions that were created for @mikeylion so many years ago… tbh this photo barely does the reality of the lion den justice, but it’s worth throwing it out there right now until i can find footage that does the fam justice❤️❤️❤️ by @allthethingzz
