What a WEEKEND celebrating Sean’s big 5-0 in beautiful San Diego!! And because one party simply wouldn’t do, we celebrated for TWO nights! 😂🥳🥂⚓️🤍🎉 @sean_normoyle1

Night one brought a coastal-chic house party complete with a hibachi chef, fire dancers, cocktails, and apparently SNAKES?! 🐍🔥🍣 Because why wouldn’t there be snakes at Sean’s birthday party?! LOL.

Night two was an epic all-white yacht party cruising San Diego Bay, with gorgeous views, great music, flowing drinks, an incredible crew, and a little Halloween mischief thrown into the mix! 🛥️🤍🍾🎃

From the Coronado Bridge to the USS Midway, sunset on the water to dancing under the blue lights, this weekend had it ALL!

But the best part? Celebrating a genuinely wonderful guy surrounded by so many fun, fabulous people. ❤️

Cheers to 50, Sean!! 🥂 Thank you for including us in such an unforgettable celebration. You certainly know how to throw one HELL of a birthday party!!! 🎉🔥

Costa Rica, you ROCKED our world!!! 🇨🇷🤘🎸🔥
Because apparently flying to another country to see DEF LEPPARD is exactly our kind of vacation planning! 😂❤️

One epic night at Parque Viva in San José, with Extreme kicking things off and the legendary Def Leppard bringing ALL the nostalgia, energy, and rock & roll magic! 🎶🔥 @defleppard

Did it take us TWO HOURS to travel 7.5 miles to the venue? Sure did. 😂 Was it worth every single minute? HELL YES!

There’s just something about singing your heart out to the soundtrack of your life, thousands of miles from home, with your favorite concert buddy by your side. ❤️

Another country, another concert, another unforgettable memory with my favorite guy! 🥰

POUR SOME SUGAR ON US, COSTA RICA!!! 🎸🤘🇨🇷

Our Full Trip Notes!! #PuraVida by @allthewaygervais

From beach life to city lights! 🇨🇷🌆❤️

The second half of our Costa Rican adventure took us to San José, where we traded sandy toes and swim-up bars for city exploring, incredible food, craft cocktails, and a little ROCK & ROLL! 🎸🤘

Highlights included staying in the Escazú area, checking out the the beautiful National Theatre, exploring the Gold Museum, discovering the awesome food and cocktail scene in Barrio Escalante (Apothecario, we’re looking at you! 🍸), incredible sushi at Ensō, and an unforgettable tableside flaming steak dinner at Insurgentes 21! 🔥🥩

And of course, the BIG reason for our San José stop… DEF LEPPARD LIVE IN COSTA RICA! 🤘🎶 Two hours in traffic to travel 7.5 miles to Parque Viva 😂, but worth every minute!

A few lessons learned: Ubers are ridiculously affordable, local massages are a steal, traffic is absolutely NOT for the faint of heart, and Costa Rica knows how to put on a rock concert!

Seven days, two very different sides of Costa Rica, countless memories, and one thing confirmed: We are absolutely coming back! 🇨🇷💚

Pura vida, Costa Rica! Until next time! 🌴🥂

Guanacaste, Costa Rica: you have our hearts! 🇨🇷🌴❤️

Four days of Pura Vida, and somehow it still wasn’t enough! From sloth encounters and Superman ziplining over the most incredible coastline, to beach days at Playa Conchal, cocktails in Las Catalinas, and exploring the winding roads in our little Suzuki Jimmy. 🦥🌊🍹

We came for the adventure, stayed for the sunsets, and left already planning our return. And possibly plotting our future Costa Rican address. 😉🏡

A few lessons learned: Rent the 4x4, watch out for the muertos (speed bumps!), don’t expect monkeys on the Monkey Trail 😂, and ALWAYS book an extra day.

Guanacaste, this definitely isn’t goodbye. Pura vida, until next time! 💚

Mama’s sweet old man by @allthewaygervais

Happy birthday to the love of my life, my favorite human, my best friend, my partner in crime, and my forever. ❤️ @courtneys_husband_

The one who is always there for me, no matter what. The one who makes me laugh harder, dream bigger, and makes every adventure better just by being there.

There is no one else I’d rather do this crazy, beautiful life with. From everything we’ve already lived, loved, and laughed our way through, to all the adventures still ahead of us… and someday, our toes in the sand, living our best retired life in Costa Rica. 🌴🦥🌊☀️🥂😎❣️🍹👙🩳🩴🦥

I love this life we’ve built, and I love YOU even more.

Happy birthday, babe. Here’s to another trip around the sun with my forever person. ❤️🌴🌊
