Learning to learn how to accept the care I deserve. One day at a time.

I’ve felt it in my soul that I needed to be home for months now, but I made every excuse, time off, finances, Ry etc. Then when I heard my Apple G wasn’t doing too well, I dropped everything and said, time to go home. So here we are. Home.

In honour of World Photography Day 🤎📸

Being a photographer is a part of who I am.

The way I see the world… the details I notice, the moments I pause for, the things that might otherwise go unseen, all of it finds its way into my photography.

For me, photography is the ability to see what others might overlook. To find beauty, meaning and story in the seemingly ordinary.

To see the unseen.
To make it visible.
To remember it.

Because to be seen is to be known, and to be known is to be seen.

Lately, my @procreate has been looking a lot like this. ✍🏾🌴

Every page is another idea, another flavour combination, another detail bringing Tropical State of Mind to life.

This experience has become so much more than a Cake Decorating + Brunch Experience. It’s challenged me creatively, pushed me to think outside the box, and reminded me just how much I love the process of creating. ✨

Where you pour into everyone else, explore new passions, build new dreams… and somewhere along the way, a part of yourself patiently waits to be rediscovered.

For me, that part has always been photography.

This isn’t just the relaunch of a website. It’s the beginning of a new chapter: a return to the art that first taught me to slow down, stay curious, and see beauty in the everyday.
