Silk 1 (2nd Printing)

The first female character that I read. One of many of our boy Peter Parker’s love interest, while there relationship is complicated, they share this intense pheromone connection because they where bitten by the same spider.

I chose Silk (Cindy Moon) because unlike a lot of other characters in a very developed universe Silk was relatively newer and didn’t have many Issues(40).

This book does hold a special place for me, a few years ago I couldn’t make it to a Comic-con and my mom was going, so I sent her on a side mission. She paid way more than she should’ve for a 2nd printing but I’m extremely grateful for it!

Spider-Man 2099 1

PEEP THAT SIGNATURE ON THE BOTTOM!!!!!

In 2022 Rick Leonardi was a guest at Tucson comic-con. This was 1 of 4 books I purchased, which were my first signed books!

Spider-Man 2099 always stood out to me because of Miguel O’Hara’s hispanic background. Miguel was much different than Peter Parker, with Miguel having Organic webs, having talons/claws, fangs and being much more aggressive.

A book that i will forever cherish for the rest of my life !

Exquisite Corpses 1-13

Where to begin ?!?!? Think … Battle royal meets Purge, mixed with Hunger Games, around Halloween time. Yeah CRAZY!!! What started as a few recommendations, turned to me itching for the next issue. What finally pushed me to read this was a fellow comic book reader put the first volume in my hand after i asked for a recommendation. I am not a fan of Horror or slashers, it’s often a genre I turn down immediately. This comic series turned me into fan and went the next day to buy volume 2.

Luckily this season is complete so you can pick up all 13 issues. I promise if you’re into comics this will not be the last time you hear about this series!

My most anticipated hat drop of 2025 was this Chicos Toxicos Honey. They dropped an EA link a day early and it sold out in minutes. Luckily I was successful with the official drop and picked this one up. The details and quality are crazy, that “Thank God For Toxicas” hit on the brim 🔥

What the Chicos Toxicos represent is nothing foreign to anyone that grew up in the Hispanic culture.

Hispanics can do it too

Marvel “Baby” Variant Covers

Skottie quickly became my favorite cover artist through his iconic “Baby variants” which then introduced me to his work completely as both artist and writer.
While these covers stand out as something completely different, I quickly noticed they are difficult to find, they sell out quick! The amount of “Skottie Young” collectors out there is insane. I guess I am one too

Chicago White Sox “Cotton Candy “

This Chicago White Sox was the first Shoepalace Exclusive release that i picked up! For me in order to pick up a hat it either has to be something i really mess with or it has to have a meaning behind it. I was just getting in the fitted game and worked for Shoe palace, for us to release an exclusive, i thought it was the dopest thing, I personally didn’t really hear other shoe retailers doing this with fitted’s. Call it bias but Shoe Palace was cookin with this one

Absolute Batman 1 (4th printing)

This take on Batman is truly different, in short this Batman was not raised by Alfred but instead raised by his mother and did not inherit wealth! This is very much a darker version of Batman.

There has been many times I’ve attempted to read comics or try to be constant with picking comics up and follow the story. Nothing ever stuck. I was exclusively picking up comics for the covers and art! Honestly, there is nothing wrong with that. For the past year this book has been the talk of the town and I now understand why!

Detroit Tigers “Elimination Pack” 1 of 3 💀

In honor of it being WrestleMania weekend, I had to bring this one out. Inspired by Dirty Dom, “The Greatest Mysterio of Time”. The details on this one are insane, the side patch and the colors look to be homage to him having the IC title, the blue with the surrounding gold 🔥

Miles Morales: Spider-Man 1 (LGY 283)

This is a different direction of what we’ve seen of Miles Morales and mannnnnn you can feel the internal struggle he is going through. Miles has to deal with villains, high school, and balancing his personal life with his responsibilities as a hero and son.
