October at the cinema is looking VERY interesting 👀🎬
If you’re looking for a reason to be at the cinema this month, here are a few films I have my eye on:

🎬 Verity — 2 October

Avengers endgame encore will still be streaming also 🤭

A very full circle kind of day 🥹🎓

Today I had the privilege of returning to Manchester Metropolitan University, this time as an alumna, to speak to new students about my journey, share some of the things I’ve learnt along the way and hopefully leave someone feeling a little more encouraged about their own journey.

I left feeling so incredibly grateful. For the opportunity, for how far I’ve come, for the people who have supported me and for every door that has opened along the way. @the_oh_yinda @khemies_page

Sometimes you just have to pause and take it all in. 🤍

I tried sushi for the FIRST time at @jplab_manchester and I’m amazed

I ordered the Tempura Shrimp Pickled Cucumber Taco, Cheese Crab Stick Taco, Salty Beef & Pickled Cucumber Taco and Curry Tempura Rice. Will definitely be ordering more 🤤

The sushi tacos completely surprised me. The tempura shrimp taco was juicy, crunchy and SO good, and the curry rice was the perfect cosy dinner.

If you’re new to Japanese food like me or you’ve been wanting to try sushi but don’t know where to start, JPLAB is a good place to start. There’s plenty of variety and the sushi tacos are definitely something different!

Five years is such a funny amount of time.

Long enough for your life to look completely different, but somehow short enough to wonder where all the time went.

When I moved to England, I knew I was moving to a new country. I didn’t realise I was also stepping into a completely new version of my life.

And looking back now, I’m grateful for the person I was when I made that decision, the person I’ve become since, and all the versions of me in between.

So in honour of five years, I put together a few things this chapter has taught me. Not because I have life figured out, but because sometimes it’s nice to pause and share what you’re learning while you’re still learning it.

I pray you have a life filled with all the goodness that living has to offer.
