She also is an experienced event planner, a yoga instructor of over 10 years, and a hand-crafted jewelry designer. She hails from the capital city of Lansing, Michigan. In my journey to celebrate all spaces of wellness last week's experience was the triumphant, glamorous, love filled, National Black People Holiday known to the world as #howardhomecoming but to true #Bison it's just Home.

Everyone's post went up last week and I'm still sitting in the mist that falls over you after you have a REAL good time.

We heald one another, laughed together, reminisced on old times, congratulated new life accomplishments, we took a moment to love each other. This gathering of all things Excellent & Black has been heald in high esteem by the community, and is glorified in urban culture. But for me as much as all the partying is still my cup of tea 🥳 it's more then that....seeing the folks who shared the yard with me gives a deep sense of confirmation, stirs my soul, and offers new inspiration. Being connected again is the breath of fresh air I didn't know I needed. Howard Homecoming we missed you, we love you, welcome back!

It's not always top of mind to share my wins as it's really easy to get swept up in the work. Sometimes it's important to stop and take a moment to reflect on the journey. Last night I got to share my story in a room full of love and support. It's a special experience to have people to remind you who you are where you come from and how much it took just to get started. Humility comes to mind but this feeling is stronger, I feel grounded in the truth that love is abundant, and we deserve to have it all. Thank you to everyone who pulled up!!! I feel so celebrated, I have a tribe that extends my shine. I'm appreciative, grateful, and honored to be a 2022 Official Webby Honoree.
