One of my favorite scriptures (1 Corinthians 13:4-8). This is the perfect love that we all desire, deserve and is available to us. I hope that when we receive this perfect love, we also give it in return. Some one suggested that you replace love with your name. Hits home a little more when you do that. #love #loveneverfails by @allthingssavvy

45 be good to me! Thank you all for the birthday wishes, gifts, cashapp, love and so much more. I am sooo overwhelmed by the love and celebration that I received on yesterday, today and just in life generally. And to that 29 year young man at the Home Depot who shot his shot…you made Auntee blush, but she gonna have pass. lol. by @allthingssavvy

My cousin asked me if I was in Vegas last week. I was like girl nawl…I was in Hammond, NOLA, Jackson, Birmingham and then back to Jackson. But I had a ball. Got some much needed rest, ate good, laughed a lot, spent time with my favs (family and friends) and now I’m good until my birthday in two weeks. by @allthingssavvy

Movements require imagination—-Tiffany Lofton. Thank you Southern Poverty Law Center for stretching my imagination as to what advocacy looks like. These past 9 weeks I’ve connected with some amazing change makers. This multi-generational cohort of advocates had everyone from high schoolers to Mayors to business owners, all eager to learn more about how we collectively advocate for change.

Now I must dig a little deeper, stretch a little further and run a little longer. There’s no way I can sit on this knowledge. There were 31 of us in this cohort. I now have 31 brothers and sisters that I get to support in the movement. Thank you Shonna Tillman for being our fearless leader and Waikinya JS Clanton for sparing no resource.

Now, the work doesn’t just continue, it intensifies. by @allthingssavvy

As we close out the 100th birthday of Medgar Evers, I wanted to share a recap of the @diaconvening I attended this past Saturday. It was my first time attending and I left feeling so inspired by the life of Medgar Evers. by @allthingssavvy

Every boarded-up home tells a story.
A story of what was—and what could be.
In Jackson, entire blocks sit vacant. Not because our people don’t care—but because systems failed to invest in us. These underutilized spaces could be gardens, housing for unhoused neighbors, wellness hubs, gathering spaces.
We’re launching a movement to transform these overlooked properties into community-powered spaces with your help.
🌱 Want to see change on your block?
💡 Have ideas or resources to offer?
💸 Want to support a rebuild project near you?
Head to rebuildjackson.com (http://rebuildjackson.com/) or link in our bio to learn how you can invest in a Jackson that works for all of us.
