I’m overwhelmed to have finally reached the finish line. There were moments when it felt impossibly far, and like many of my peers, I faced discouragement. I’m deeply grateful to God for guiding me through, and to my support system for their unwavering encouragement. My mom, especially, has been my rock, teaching me the importance of determination and to leave no stone unturned. I’m thankful for the strong, amazing women in my life, my family, and true friends. This degree isn’t just for me; it’s for my family, and for all the little girls and boys who, like me, aspire to achieve their dreams. My prayer is that I can be a vessel for helping those in need. And break generational curses and in his name I will. On to the next chapter!

Thank you God.
I know that what you have in store for me will be bigger than I could ever believe and I will continue to let you use me for your will. To all of my peers, use your voice and don’t be scared. This trip showed me even more that I have to advocate for myself and my peers. If you don’t agree with the laws/want them to change, write a letter, come out to protest, or call your representative and set up a meeting. This battle affects us all, so sitting at home and complaining when your ancestors did more with little is not acceptable. Be the change you want to see. I met so many amazing people this trip and heard so many amazing stories of trials and tribulations and the hard work that is being done . I am inspired and grateful to be in the room with some amazing unseen heroes that do it because it needs to be done not for recognition. Thank you @ifear4mylife and the @400yaahc See you next year #nabcj
