🌸 A gentle reminder: Don’t believe everything you see on social media🤍 Social media often captures a moment, not the whole reality.

Same body. Same woman. Same day. Just two different ways of standing. One photo with my core engaged, sucking in, and posing.. and the other simply relaxed, breathing, and existing✨

And for a little more real-life context. I’m also on day 2 of my period (one of my heavier days). My body is naturally a little more bloated, my stomach looks different, and that’s completely normal.

Neither version is “better”. Neither needs to be hidden. This is just what a real body looks like. It moves, it changes, it folds, it bloats, it stretches, and it relaxes.

So be kind to yourself💗 Don’t compare your real, unposed body to someone else’s posed moment. You are not meant to look “camera ready” every second of the day.

Love your body through all of it🫶🏼✨

When the Adam Sandler tee comes off 👏🏼🙌🏼 I am SO proud of my progress thus far. Sitting at 180 lbs and slowly getting back to the body I once knew. Movement is becoming easier, and cortisol levels are getting back to normal. That alone feels like such a win🥹🤍

I don’t need to be understood by everyone. I don’t need to explain every decision. I don’t need to entertain chaos just because it’s familiar.

I’m learning to protect my energy, move in silence, choose myself without guilt, and let “no” be a complete sentence.

Like someone once told me.. you have to move on.

Life doesn’t stop because you’re going through a breakup. Life doesn’t stop because you’re unhappy at your job. Life doesn’t stop when the world feels too heavy. Life doesn’t stop. So you have to keep moving.

During this season of my life, I’ve reconnected with myself in so many ways, and I’m proud of the woman I am today. Even more so, I’m excited for the woman I’m becoming. One thing’s for sure: I am far from the woman I was four years ago. I’m even far from the woman I was yesterday. And that’s okay.

Who I was no longer holds weight over who I am becoming. I’m grateful for every version of me that got me here, but I’m no longer living in the past. I look forward to all the days I have ahead of me, while remaining grateful for all the days behind me.

Because just like the sun sets at the end of every day, it reminds us that endings don’t always have to be sad.

Sometimes, endings can be beautiful too💛

I’ve been through seasons that humbled me, stretched me, broke parts of me, and forced me to become someone I didn’t even know I was capable of being.

But I’m still here.

Still loving. Still learning. Still becoming. Still choosing myself. Still showing up for my girls, for my dreams, and for the woman I’m becoming. I’m not the same woman I was before everything changed. And I don’t want to be.

This chapter isn’t about proving anything to anyone. It’s about remembering who I am, rebuilding what I lost, and rising… one day, one choice, one breath at a time🤍

I didn’t come this far just to stay down. I’m rising. And this time, I’m taking me with me. ✨
