Words can’t express how proud I am of you ! Even through the ups and downs, you obeyed the Lord in very much needed rest and realignment. It took a lot to do what you did in stepping away from MIT, when your whole world was upside down and when you weren’t sure what was in store, but you did…

and THEN, God said it’s time to go back ! And you went back willingly and open for the next chapter. You trusted in Him, built community, performed, encouraged others, and enrolled in a RAP class (which I never would’ve thought was a thing at MIT)… and now I’m learning you also did a sail class 🤣 You went above and beyond in creating new memories and discovering a new identity as a Christian student at MIT.

And now, you are DONE! You have completed this chapter of your life. You can do anything you set your mind to. This is just the beginning of an incredible journey of adventure with you and Jesus! So blessed to have you in my life as my sister & best friend. 🫶🏼

tl;dr ❄️ Out in Cold ❄️ OUT ON ALL PLATFORMS NOW ☃️💙

Yurrr I’m on the ledge a 5-story dorm building: the same place I was gonna jump off of at MIT.

MIT + the world of tech wasn’t as marvelous as MCU depicted; I got so caught up in greed & fell in depression, tryna exist w/o knowing my purpose, feeling like an impostor, & on-edge tryna figure out my life. But I had to. How else do I even give back to the community that brought me here in the first place?

Was I grateful? or guilty? Did I deserve this insane opportunity? Will my family’s sacrifices be redeemed by what I do? Am I enough? I felt that I owed so much, but had nothing left to give. The pressure got to me. I failed to see anything good out of my own efforts…

So, I spiraled, tryna control everything else I could. All falls down anyways, so why not at least dictate how I’d fall? I ran from myself; I spent my days in addiction + dramatic relationships.

Still, I’d never fully escape the emptiness, unworthiness, & codependence — I’d only mask it. It worked, but only for a while.

And so I ended up on this ledge… At first, to die; but now, to live, glorifying Him.

It’s fr a miracle that my life was turned around, thanks to the Way, the Truth, & the Life. I’m here as proof that Jesus loves us & calls us as His children: worthy. He was always there. And He loved me sm to make Himself known to me moments before the fall. Now I know to face hate w/ the Truth — w/ the sword of the Spirit — & to LIVE & resist evil, fulfilled & in love w/ life again!

This past year, the Holy Spirit called me to leave MIT (in an Isaac moment, I nearly dropped out) + pursue my dreams w/ my familia, @PetrinaDelacey & @JBThaPreacher, who’ve shown me nothing but love, took me in when I had nowhere to go, shown me how to walk in the Spirit, & tirelessly encouraged me to DO THIS. I’ve been able to truly heal w/them.

Now it’s time to go back — but before I do, I’d love to share my reflections MIA from MIT.

All glory to God: none of this would’ve been possible w/o Him. Shoutout everyone who’s shown love. Appreciate your support throughout this crazy journey. Love you ❤️ & thanks for coming to my TED talk 🫶🏼 taken in Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) by @allyminju

so proud of my sis Esther, God is good and it’s only because of Jesus we are alive. we are called to turn from our sinful ways that separate us from Him and instead trust in Him - believe that He is Lord and Savior, without Him we cannot do anything. He died for our sins and paid the price with His life so that we can live eternally with Him - He came to give us life and life abundantly

POV: you walk into H&M and hear a faith-filled song playing through the speakers… then realize it’s YOURS 🥹🌸

i used to dance through H&M shopping to their playlists all the time, so having my own song “WALKING IN THIS WORLD” playing in store honestly felt surreal.

this is such a reminder that God can place you in rooms and spaces you never imagined. even everyday places. even while people are just living life, shopping, existing, healing, moving through the world.

my prayer has always been to create music that carries peace, faith, love, and presence into real life moments 🤍

thank You Jesus for every open door, every listener, every quiet moment that turns into something bigger than me 🙏🏼

From rocking stages at local fairs and talent shows to rocking SXSW, I’m sooo proud of you sis 💕 Forever grateful that throughout you were always a home away from home for me, even to this day, that I can pop out from Seoul and it’s just the same as it always was. And now you’ve been a home to so so many people, especially to so many youth in Inglewood 🥺
