Hey yall! I don’t think I’ve ever done a proper introduction... I’m @Allyn (pronounced like the man’s name). Or you can call me Ally. I’ll answer to either. I am a live painter, designer, and fine artist from MEMPHIS, TN - the most beautiful land in the world! I’m also an ALLY 🏳️‍🌈, a table-flipping Jesus-follower, a gouache enthusiast, a wife @resarfxela, mother, daughter, baker, and raging feminist nightmare 💙 I have been painting my whole life, graduated with my BFA in 2014, and I’ve been trying to unlearn everything from college since. You can generally catch me at markets, galleries, weddings, hanging with my toddler, or filling my basket at @artcentermemphis. Thanks for following along! I hope you like the things I make 🫶🏼 📸: the most talented @madi4kgp by @allynmakes
AHHHH!! A very mini ALLYNmakes print shop is now open for business at @soulandspiritsbrew!! Blair & Ryan are the most supportive friends EVER and now you can buy my art alongside their deeeelicious brews. So grab your quarters and meet me there tonight for Thai food at $5 pints 🍻😋 #memphisart #memphisartist #memphisbeer by @allynmakes
OXFORD!!!!! HOLY MOLY ME OH MY I can’t thank you enough for showing up & showing out for me this weekend. What a dream come true to be the featured artist for @doubledeckerart ‘26. I got to see my art used in so many amazing ways - the coolest of which has to be the stage banners flanking the incredible musical artists that played this weekend. Everyone I met was so special and kind - there is a reason this is one of my all time favorite fests. My BIGGEST thank you is to my people. My collectors, my KD sisters, my Memphis art girls, my best friends, my FAMILY. Your love and support would shoot anyone to the moon. I love you endlessly. by @allynmakes
Had a lovely evening at @monogramfoods Meat Me in Memphis gala last night! Thanks so much for having me and I’m so happy my corndog painting could help raise some money for the kiddos 💙🌽🐶 by @allynmakes
It takes a team to make mail look this good 😜. And mine is the team at MakeStickers who I continually trust with the best quality stickers for my mail club. Be sure to snag that $20 off 50+ from my bio!!! Valid 10/27/26-11/27/26 LETS MAKE SOME STICKERS 🙌🏼🔥 by @allynmakes
Honored, thrilled, gagged to make custom prints for the hottest night of the year and my FAMILY at @dixonmemphis. I am dying over this tiny pumpkin house tbh. It’s not too late to grab your tix to Art on Fire happening TONIGHT 8/24🔥🔥 by @allynmakes
Been experimenting a bit with pattern & color and a few of those pieces are at @grahamslightingfixtures raising money for @maternityhousinginitiative 💗 If these are your kind of thing, swing by and snag them for a good cause! Plus it’s always fun to show work next to some of my favorite artists @taraburtdesigns @laceycraigart @leeandersonart @haileyroaten by @allynmakes
Had the best day being a juror for River Arts Fest for my third year!! Getting to meet and learn about all these amazing artists’ processes is a dream. Imposter syndrome at its finest! Plus I loved this giant bird… cap? Is that a birdcap? @birdcap please advise 😆 by @allynmakes
Don’t worry, I’ve planned your Saturday for you. Hit up @riverartsmemphis and then get your butts over to @soulandspiritsbrew to celebrate their 5th anniversary! While you’re there grab some brand new mini prints!!! Get outcha house and support local businesses, local artists, and all the stuff that makes Memphis magic ✨🍻 by @allynmakes
Dolly’s been hanging out in the studio for a while & I figured it was about time she saw the sunshine (and the grid). DM for pricing if this Backwoods Barbie is what your walls were missing 🦋 by @allynmakes
