A little over 6 months ago, I lost my mini best friend, Rhett Carson. He was my +1 to every wedding, my swing buddy, my nap partner, my side by side copilot, and the little brother I never had. This sweet boy was the first child who made me want to become a mother in the future. To others, he was a son, a grandson, a future big brother, a friend, and an inspiration. He was a light in so many lives and a true reflection of God’s word. Not once in his life did Rhett show anything other than love and smiles. There was never a dull moment in his presence. Although he is missed so much on Earth, I know he’s doing everything he loves up in Heaven. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss receiving constant Snapchat videos from Spencer of Rhett saying he “misses his girlfriend” (me) or counting down the days until I could go back to Brooker to see him. I will never understand why God took him away from us so soon, but I trust His plan and I most definitely understand that Rhett was a gift sent to show us all what unconditional affection looked like. I love and miss you so much, buddy. Regardless of how long it’s been without you, I’ll forever share stories about you and every single silly picture and video I have. I will always hold a spot in my heart and mind for your little (yet sooo big) soul♥️🤍 Luke 18:16:
