8 years ago I walked in to this gym at the age of 12, unsure of what was to come, scared for what this new chapter was holding, and only knowing very few people. Little did I know this place would soon become my home, my safe spot, the place I ran to escape life. Infinite was never and has never just been a cheer gym for competitive cheer. Infinite was many athletes only place where they felt they belonged, loved, truly safe, valued, worthy, I could go on and on. I made my absolute best friends here, people that will be in my life until it’s over, people who became family. This gym holds more memories than I could even fathom. Every gym sleepover, bonding, the karaoke nights, especially the one Ashley and I sang to distract her so her now husband can kneel behind and propose, late night and early morning practices, the hardest practices of my life, but I wouldn’t have wished for anything else. I would do 100 squatted toes all over again while Amy made us hold if that meant it would stop time just for a little bit (and that’s the closest thing to hell we’ve all experienced🤣). Accepting that we will never experience everything in the gym again is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to accept, but looking back at everything we’ve been lucky enough to experience makes me that much more grateful. In the past 8 years I have learned so much about myself, I found what I love to do the most, and I had an indescribable amount of support in every moment. I was lucky enough to experience coaching the best athletes who I built bonds with and was able to watch become better versions of themselves as athletes and people. As I’m excited to see what this new chapter brings, knowing Gods leading and guiding all of us, there will not be a day that goes by where I won’t miss and think about the home we once had. Thank you to everyone who made the past 8 years at infinite some of the most special moments in my life. How lucky are we to have experienced something that makes saying goodbye so hard. To new beginnings, looking back on everything God had blessed us with, and never forgetting where we came from.
