For more than 10 years, Alma has been honored to stand alongside @candlelighters_houston and the families they serve. 🤍

Every year, we have the privilege of catering Candlelighters events, and every year, we’re reminded why this partnership means so much to us. Being able to show up, serve a meal, and share a little joy with families going through something no family should have to face alone is an honor we never take for granted.

This year, we were honored to be part of the Candlelighters Fun Walk, a community event that brings families and supporters together in support of children and families facing childhood
cancer. This year, the walk recognized the 5,902 childhood cancer families Candlelighters supports. 🤍

A special thank you to Opal Goodman for sharing her story with us and for allowing us to share a glimpse into what Candlelighters means to the families they serve. 🤍

Our CEO, Sheree , has been accepted into Cohort 22 of the Latino Business Action Network’s (LBAN) Business Scaling Program.

LBAN supports Latino entrepreneurs through education, mentorship, and connections. Its scaling program, developed in collaboration with Stanford Graduate School of Business, brings business leaders together for learning at Stanford and online to help their companies grow.

For Alma, this is an opportunity to bring back new strategies, build meaningful connections, and invest in our team as we prepare for our next chapter—all while continuing to serve the community that makes Alma special.
