“we love the industry and we don’t want to be anywhere else. we just want to make it a better place for everyone.”

@cassyofficial shares a little more about why we’re bringing the Women Workshop back to Amsterdam during ADE this year.

a space to come together, speak openly, listen to each other and talk about the things we experience working in this industry, but don’t always get the space to talk about.

we had such a special response to last year’s workshop, and we’re really looking forward to opening the conversation again this year 💚

join us during ADE.

student spotlight ✦ @pokka_no_t

one of the reasons we started this series is simple: we want to give the people who come through Become an Agent more visibility, more connections and hopefully more opportunities along the way.

Jasmin is currently based in Leipzig, with experience across festival & event marketing, artist care, stage management, production, booking and content.

she’s especially interested in booking, events, tour + label management, electronic live music, FLINTA* artists and projects that connect subcultural and commercial worlds.

so if you’re working on something where jasmin could be a good fit, looking for someone to join a team, collaborate on a project, or simply want to connect, have a look through her spotlight and say hi <3

the whole point of this series is to make sure the people in our community don’t only learn with us, but also get seen by the wider industry.

Jasmin, we’re rooting for you 🌱 by @almaernst__

How do you build a career in music that you actually want to stay in?

On Friday 23 October, @almaernst__, @dream_sequence_ and
@pidelta will come together to talk about building and sustaining a long-term career in the music industry.

Between the three of us, we’ve taken quite different paths through the industry, so we’ll share some of those experiences and talk about how careers change over time, taking ownership of your path, and finding ways of working that are actually sustainable.

Friday 23 October, 16:00–17:30
The Node North @ Bunk Hotel Amsterdam

On Thursday 22 October, Alma will be joined by Cassy and Michelle Galetta for a workshop centred around something that is still very present in our industry: how women navigate their careers, communicate what they need and want, set boundaries, and create space for themselves without feeling the need to apologise for it.

The session will bring together individual experiences and different generations and perspectives from within the music industry, with space for an open and honest conversation.

Thursday 22 October
16:00–17:30
The Node North @ @wearebunk

Here is a little introduction to the speakers leading the workshop for our third meeting @jonnyknueppel today!

Join us for an open and honest space for FLINTA* artists and music professionals to talk about the realities of today’s music industry.

What we explore:
* Male-coded industry behavior that often goes unnoticed
* Situations where FLINTA* are unfairly held accountable
* Shared experiences across different countries and scenes
* Local industry trends compared to broader European developments
* Practical tools to build confidence and autonomy

This isn’t about blame or confrontation. It’s rooted in:
* Encouragement
* Constructive visibility
* Mutual empowerment
* Recognition of positive progress
* Collective awareness

The goal is to make invisible dynamics visible, approached with clarity and a solution-oriented mindset, so participants can carry these reflections back into their own communities.

Everyone is welcome to join this conversation, including men. Building a more conscious and supportive industry is a shared responsibility.

Entry is donation-based. Contribute what you can and feel comfortable with.

We are looking forward to seeing you there! ❤️

Location: @jonnyknueppel
Entry: 6:30pm

getting an agent isn’t the moment everything suddenly falls into place.

understanding why an agent chooses an artist, what makes a project bookable, and what actually happens behind the scenes is a big part of understanding the job.

and that’s exactly what we get into with Become an Agent.

13 weeks of learning how booking actually works, from artist development and pitching to promoters, deals, contracts, advancing and building a career as an agent.

next course starts 22 september.
a few places are still available.

don’t take our word for it :)

some words from people who joined the last edition of Become an Agent and experienced the course for themselves.

for us, the course has never just been about learning how bookings work. it’s about understanding the bigger picture, building confidence in your own way of working, and creating a community of people you can keep learning and growing with long after the 13 weeks are over.

thank you @ranah.in.motion , @iamin.bk and @niamh_coughlan for trusting us and for sharing your words 🤍

the next Become an Agent starts 22 September 2026.

applications are still open, with limited places remaining.

Hamburg next week :)

I’ll be at @reeperbahn_festival as part of Track ID, their new programme dedicated to electronic music.

On Thursday I’m joining a conversation called From Bedroom to Backstage, looking at something that is obviously very close to my heart: what actually happens behind the scenes once an artist gets booked.

How does a booking come together? Who is involved? What happens between the confirmation and actually getting on stage? And how do all these different parts of our industry connect with each other?

I’ll be talking about all of this together with @bernddicks , @jackiequeens and Jakob Siegler, moderated by Susan Gloy-Kruse.

Track ID brings together conversations, networking and events around electronic music, and I’m really happy to be part of its first edition.

17.09.2026
17:30 to 18:15
Alte Liebe, Klubhaus St. Pauli @alte_liebe_klubhaus

There’s a dedicated €19 Track ID ticket for the programme, and Reeperbahn Festival Conference Pass holders already have access.
