One of the last places I visited while I lived in Italy was the area of Cinque Terre I remember distinctly the awe of hiking between the small towns, (in wooden clogs, not the best choice of shoes, but fashion first), and taking seconds to turn around and gasp and appreciate the landscape. Italy was like that everywhere. It’s a place to fall in love, create and certainly to dream. When Lindsey and I started talking about this print, so many memories of my time there started flooding back to me. I love that. I am a big fan of natural fibers and this look has them all. Silk charmeuse, boiled wool and Mongolian fur stole🖤

The collection for EVOLVE Mediterranean Nights came to fruition during a time when so many more things were happening besides a new collection was being born. That is part of why I am so very proud of it. I love how it turned out. The mix of fabrics and prints and textiles. This first look was actually the last designed.🧡

Some of you may know that I studied in Italia all too many years ago…. Part of which lead to the inspiration for the theme for the most recent print and collaboration between @lindseyriesstudio and I. This print is just absolutely perfect and I love it so much. It reminds me of a time in my life when I took chances and just “jumped”. Not so far off from right now.
How thankful am I to be surrounded by such a great support system of friends and family. Lindsey, the Cinque Terre print is just perfect. Thank you 🩵
