if you know me you know my love for dan and phil runs deep. this year marks 10 years of watching them.

i started watching right as their first tour TATINOF was ending so i didn’t get a chance to see them live. though i have been so fortunate to be able to see every show they have done since and i am even more fortunate to have been able to meet them in their last three shows.

dan and phil are a safe space for me and so many other people around the world. they show that it is ok to be your true self even if it is scary. i am so proud and happy that they finally feel comfortable being themselves publicly. thank you for everything you have done @danielhowell and @amazingphil by @almandmilk08

this is a few weeks late but omg the hard launch tour was genuinely my favorite dan and phil show that i’ve seen. being able to meet them again with @valerieregina444 was such an amazing experience. i love dan and phil so much and i’m so grateful to be able to meet them and watch their live shows. 💜🩶 taken in Rosemont, Illinois by @almandmilk08

my 90 year old aunt moved from the mountains of puerto rico here to aurora to be close to my grandma and their other siblings. i am so grateful to have her so close. in the last week we took her to the zoo, this was her first time ever at a zoo and seeing most of the animals. we also went to aurora’s puerto rican festival where she got to see her little brother perform. i’m so happy to see all the siblings together again. by @almandmilk08

my parents and i tried to make the most out of our drive home from florida.

our first stop was plains, georgia the hometown of my favorite president jimmy carter. we got to stop at the peanut statue a with his smile on it (which was in the parking lot of a gas station lol).

after we went to the old plains high school which is now a museum for him. while we were there we talked to some of the park rangers and they were amazing. one of them actually ended up giving me a challenge coin. the challenge coin was made for jimmy and rosalynn carter’s 75th anniversary and only the guests of the celebration and rangers from the jimmy carter national park received them (probably less than 500 people). i am genuinely so grateful to have been given it and i will treasure it forever.

we then drove further up in georgia to our next stop, babyland general hospital. i have been wanting to go ever since i was a little kid and being able to finally go was so cool. i couldn’t leave without getting one :). taken in Georgia, USA by @almandmilk08

Unfortunately I had to cut my Disney College Program short due to health reasons but I wanted to make this post highlighting some of my favorite memories. Getting to even have the chance to do this program has honestly been such an honor. I had the privilege of doing my program at my favorite park in the most amazing store. All of my coworkers both college program participants and PT/FTers were some of the most amazing people. I also got to meet some amazing friends from all over the world and some even a lot closer. I’m so grateful for all of the memories I created during my time. While I am sad I wasn’t able to finish my program fully I am happy to have been able to be apart of the magic that is created every day in the parks.

Manifest 2026: Kaleidoscope

In May of 2025, Beth told me “next year I am going to be the creative director for Manifest” and then she was. Never once did I doubt that she would because once she puts her mind to something she does it and does it amazingly. Getting to see all of her hard work come to life was so amazing and I am genuinely so proud of her.

For those who don’t know Manifest is a showcase of everything Columbia students have worked on through the year (or years). Getting to see all of my friends hard work (some that I was there for and some that I was not) was so amazing. I knew my friends were talented but seeing it all on display was so special.

On Friday I had the chance to attend the ILLO awards where I got to celebrate Beth and Jenna! Both who received awards! I also got to attend Cry Night for Mel’s ASL cohort.

Saturday was packed with different events! My day started with seeing Eddie’s showcase of his time in the theatre department. Seeing all of his amazing work on display was genuinely so cool (everything he makes is amazing). I then was able to see the stage combat performance where I got to see Parker, Abi, and Lana perform different scenes, all of which were amazing. I also got to run into Valerie which was amazing :).

After the theater building we headed over to 1104 to watch some short films! Getting to see all of the amazing films was so cool. But seeing What a Witch (which a lot of my friends worked on) was so amazing. My friends are so talented. Seeing Charlie’s editing work was also great!

After a small break we headed over to mainstage where I was able to watch Mel and John interpret the opener for the headliner. Seeing them do something they are so passionate about was very heartwarming. They both did amazing and I am so proud of them. On my way out I visited one of the galleries that Jenna had work in, her work is always so inspirational and I love to see it.

On Sunday I had the opportunity to watch some of my best friends graduate. watching them all grow these past few years has been so amazing. They have really become a second family to me. I’m so glad to have been able to take the time and come to Chicago to witness both ceremonies. I could go on and on about everyone of them here but that will probably go in my manifest post lol. on 3/26 i went to Magic Kingdom to do the cast play-test of the refurbished Buzz Lightyear ride! it was so fun and afterwards i got to hang out with friends and go on a bunch of rides :) taken in Magic Kingdom by @almandmilk08

On 3/24 I had the opportunity to go and listen to John Stamos talk at Flamingo. It was such an amazing opportunity and inspirational. At the end of the talk while he was leaving he was walking past and stopped at me and gave me the bracelet that he was wearing. I am still so shocked but so grateful and will treasure it forever. by @almandmilk08
