Our first new member spotlights go out to Eliza Murphy and Clover Lucha!

Eliza is a freshman majoring in PK-6 and Special Education. On campus she is in the Education Club. “ I joined Phi Sig for many reasons but my main reason was to find my forever friends!”

Clover is a freshman majoring in Pre Med. On campus she is a part of the Almanian. “I joined Phi Sig to find my community. It’s a place where you can be yourself and not feel judged. I enjoy being able to be around a group of girls who can match my energy and just spend the afternoon laughing with! It’s also nice to have a group of girls who not only care about me but Comet as well!” by @almaphisig

For our next alumnae spotlight, we have Kimber Buzzard!

Kimber was a part of Phi Sig from 2018 through 2020! While she was in our chapter she was the Bursar and Sisterhood Development Chair. On campus she was an RA in Bruske and Newberry along with being a part of the Student Alumni Association. She is now an HR specialist for a technology company. “My favorite Phi Sig memory is anytime I would end up over at the house and spend hours talking with sisters in the basement. While I might not remember any of what we actually talked about, it was truly the best being able to laugh, cry, and spend time with each other. My advice is to not stress over the little things, even if they seem like a big deal right now. Use your time in college and Phi Sig to have fun and try everything you can.” by @almaphisig

Happy Why Phi Sig Wednesday from Sophia Sanford! Sophia joined us in the winter of 2025, and is our External Relations Chair! As External Relations Chair, Sophia is in charge of Alumnae brunch and plans events with other organizations on campus! She is a Biology major on the Pre-Vet track. “I decided to join Phi Sig because I felt like I was missing something from my college experience and Phi Sig filled that gap perfectly. My favorite memory since joining Phi Sig has been meeting up at Mac’s after chapter and eating dinner together at one big table.” by @almaphisig

Allyson (Cubberly) Davis was a part of Phi Sig from 2016 to 2019! While she was in our chapter she was Archon and Sisterhood Development Chair. She has a masters degree in clinical mental health counseling and is a therapist for survivors of sexual assault and sexual abuse. “Running home will always be my favorite memory! But seeing all of our alumnae get together for our 20th chapter anniversary/reunion was such a wonderful experience! My advice is to always remember to aim high and be courageous!” by @almaphisig
