😲 So wait...
AGE REALLY AIN'T NOTHING BUT A NUMBER? Like, for real???
* word to Aaliyah * 🎶

With all the things I've done in my life I don't really get any, "FIRSTS", but this is definitely one for sure... I actually DJ'd my first ever High School Prom! 😳 Yes, you read that right. I know what you're thinking... And it was NOT in my norm of nightclubs, niché parties, festivals, weddings or private high-end events, etc. My initial thought was, there's no way I can play anything prior to like 2015 cause that would be before most of them were 10-12 years old! 🤷🏾‍♂️ Unless they were really BIG classics... And it was mostly true. Talk about a limitation. But boyyyyyyyyy was I radically surprised how it all turned out! JUST WATCH 💯

💡LESSON LEARNED?: Not only is AGE nothing but a number literally, but MUSIC is truly the only universal language. It combines ALL of everything and everyone. Period. These wild teens showed me a good time, and even taught me a few things... Who knew? A TIME WAS HAD! 😎

💯 YOUR JOY SHOULD BE NON-NEGOTIABLE! 😎

Stay where JOY brews. Thrive where JOY spikes. Reset where JOY lives. There's a difference between JOY and happiness... Don't get them confused! Happiness is temporary, situational, external and fleeting. JOY is deep, stable, internal and resilient! I lean into JOY intentionally. People say, "Do what makes you happy". Nahhhhhhh, I say... "Purposely live where JOY resides, the effect will last longer and repeat itself."

🤗 FIND YOUR JOY 🙌🏾

And the best place to reset your joy is... IN NATURE!!! Preferably near the water. 😉 You're welcome.
