I thought it would be a good idea to share some of my oldest IDs, tracks that I play in many of my sets but never quite figured out how they should sound and be released.Let me know - which one was your favorite and what changes would make it perfect!ID 1 - Count On You (w/ Fade Into Darkness)Started it in 2020, aiming for classic progressive house energies, the kind of track you could close your eyes and feel like you’re at a huge festival. I needed a track to put inbetween other hit song I was playing and wanted it to completely stop the dancefloor when it starts, and finish it with maximum energies in the drop, kind of like an intro in the middle of the set, a place where I can change direction between emotional melodic music and bigroom bangers.ID 2 - HopeIf you’ve been to any of my sets in the past few years, you’ll recognize this one. Started the first idea in 2021, somewhere in the COVID era, as a hopeful melody that I wish to play when it’ll all be over and I could DJ again. Debuted it in a Zoom party (Remember using Zoom for everything?) and now, thankfully, COVID is a thing of the past, and we are partying together with this one.ID 3 - Orchid (w/ MK - 17)Orchid started as a a simple piano melody in 2021, trying to perfect the sound of a lead stack, experimenting with new and old sounds to try and find something I like enough to finish. I ended up ditching it, only to return to it in 2023 after hearing an old Tommy Trash track and thinking - it could be a great direction for this one! The gritty lead layer was exactly what was missing, and I’ve played it many times since with great response - yet I was never sure if it was right for the dancefloor, or for listening at home.📸 BG video - @noam.matry #edmdj #progressivehouse #almognaor #mainstagemusic by @almog_naor

Tomorrowland 2026.This time it was personal for me.It was a roller coaster of emotions and thoughts coming at 200%, resulting in clarity and conclusions I’ve come back with.my batteries feel recharged and ready to pursue all it is that I’m going to do 🥳I’ve made many changes in my personal life in the last couple of months, from my mindset and life directions to physical change, and this weekend helped me conclude the confusion, I am so ready to do this 🥳New energies, new vibes, new ways of pursuing life, let’s get it.And if you’ve read up to here, here’s a big thing I’m finally coming to close about: fears.For the last few years, fears have been leading a lot of my decision making in all walks of life, from personal to music to love life.I’ve taken the time to address it head on, shrink my fears and face them one by one, and I’ve come back with actions and conclusions that might be of aid to others experiencing immense/paralyzing fears:1. Break down the big fears into the smallest steps possible, do the first step. Reevaluate that fear afterwards.2. Do the things you fear with the people you love, be open for support - they might see a clearer path, put your ego aside and walk differently.3. If your heart says yes, do it. If your mind says no, ask why. Trust yourself that you’ll figure it out.4. Scheduling instead of postponing - Plan ahead what’s important to you to the smallest details and SCHEDULE them, but also leave room for the unknown - done this consistently throughout this trip and that’ll be my new normal 🥹Thank you for reading, I’m happy to share this at last, let’s get it ❤️#tomorrowland #tomorrowland2026 #facingfears #change by @almog_naor

⁨ אשכרה 30. לפעמים אלו התמונות האלה, שמצולמות ברגעים הכי קשים שגורמים לך לעצור ולהבין כמה. כמה אתה אוהב, כמה אתה בתוך רכבת שדוהרת בלי הפסקה ובלי שליטה, כמה יש לך עוד לתת. כמה זו רק ההתחלה, וכמה גם כשאתה חושב שאתה פועל נכון החיים מנערים אותך ואומרים לך כמה אתה לא בכיוון… יש כל כך הרבה דברים שקלטתי בזמן האחרון שאני רץ בהם בלי לעצור ולחשוב, בלי להבין בעצם לאן אני הולך ואיזו השפעה יש לפעולות שלי. וכן, הכאן ועכשיו זה מדהים ושמירה על איכות החיים שיצרתי לי והזמן שלי לבד היא מדהימה, אבל בתור בחור ששואל כל הזמן למה ומנסה למצוא את הסיבה להכל, הפסקתי לשאול את עצמי למה. למה אני מרגיש תקוע כל כך ולמה אני לא מצליח להוציא מעצמי את הרגש ולהגיע להגשמה העצמית שאני כל כך רוצה ולחלוק עם האנשים הכי קרובים לי, ולקרב אותם אליי בחיבור אמיתי ומתפקד. למה אני שוב ושוב נתקע, למה אני מעולה בלהתחיל אבל גרוע בלתחזק, למה אני לא מצליח לחשוב על העתיד וכל כך מנסה להתחמק מזה. למה אני מרגיש שאני נותן את הכל אבל כשאני עוצר ומסתכל מהצד אני מרגיש שיש לי עוד כל כל הרבה לתת. ויש לי עוד כל כך הרבה מה לכתוב ולהגיד על הזמן הזה, על החשבון נפש הזה שלא עשיתי עם עצמי כמו שצריך כבר הרבה זמן. רצתי בתוכנית קבועה מראש בלי מקום לגדילה והתפתחות, תוכנית שכבר לא מתאימה לאלמוג בגיל 30, שלא לדבר על מקום לנפש התאומה שלי להתפתח איתי. ומי שמכיר אותי מקרוב יודע שכל מה שאני רוצה ומנסה כבר שנים זה למצוא את הנפש התאומה. האחת שאיתה אני יכול להוריד את כל החומות הכי עמוקות שיש, לספר על כל השריטות והנפילות ולדעת שהיא תקבל אותי בדיוק כמו שאני, לתת בלי סוף בידיעה שזה אמיתי כל כך. ועכשיו אני מתעורר בגיל 30, מאחל כל בוקר שלא פספסתי את הרכבת, שלא התעוררתי מאוחר מדי, מנסה להאמין שבאמת לדברים יש נטייה להסתדר לטובה. לפעמים אלו הרגעים האלו, השפל של השפל, שפשוט אומרים לך - עצור אחי, אתה לא בכיוון, הרכבת שלך דוהרת לתהום. תחשב מסלול מחדש. אתה מזניח את עצמך ואת הסובבים אותך ועסוק בלהגן על עצמך מהעולם, מתכנס לתוך מקום אפל והופך לקליפה ריקה של מה שאתה ומי שאתה יכול להיות. כולם רואים בך את הפוטנציאל הענק, גם אתה, אבל אתה מפחד לעשות את הצעדים שצריך כדי לגדול, את הויתורים שזה דורש ממך, ובתור בחור שכל חייו רוצה לא להיות לבד אתה עובד כל כל קשה בלהחזיק את הלבד, עד שאתה פוגע שוב ושוב, עד שאתה לא משאיר ברירה. פשוט צף. יאללה אחי, גיל 30 זה הזמן להתאפס, כל עוד אתה חי יש לך הזדמנות לתקן ולדייק, לבנות ולשפר, עד שתצליח. אבל הפעם באמת. רוק 30. by @almog_naor
