cool cat. 🐈‍⬛❄️
what makes you cool is what’s inside of you. 🫀

photoshoot + poem synopsis 🌿

Cool Cat.

What makes a cat cool?
It’s not the smoke in their lungs
or the drink in their hand.
And it’s not breaking rules just to say “I can.”

A cool cat knows who they are.
they don’t pretend to be.
But many cats do act on a character, to fit in reality.

Cool isn’t what you consume, I hope you realize.
Indulge in the wrong things and you can slowly die.
So ask yourself, what bed do you make to lie?
And how do you treat yourself, in your own and other’s lives?

Life is a journey that feels hard to complete. So here’s some advice I recommend to repeat:
“What makes me cool, is what’s inside of me.”

follow no current but your own. 🐠🌀

Artist reflection: 🌊
When you’re caught in the tide of this world, life can feel restraining.
Yet I never let it stop me.
Raised in a school of fish, I don’t just follow the current, but my own stream.
So I do what I can, each day, no matter how small.
Every effort carries weight, and debt by debt, day by day,
it all pays off.
