Coral Reef Cupcakes 🪸 made with my talented 9yo niece to celebrate my momma’s birthday — HBD Mom! 🎂

We used the most delicious ulu cupcake mix from @aloha_bites, which I discovered at @hoiliilimarket in Honolulu last month, topped with homemade buttercream colored with natural dyes from @encofoods and @watkins.1868

My niece’s artistry blew me away — and so did the crumb on these gluten-free cupcakes. Had to share. taken in Austin, Texas by @aloha_bites

Aloha Bites KualoaGrown Starfruit Pepper Jelly just brought home a 2026 Good Food Award in the Preserves category! 🏆
The @goodfoodfdn @specialtyfoodassociation celebrates products that pair exceptional taste and quality with conscious craftsmanship. Chosen from a blind tasting of more than 1,200 entries, this year’s winners represent some of the most exciting products and brands in the good food space.

What makes this product so unique is that starfruit is a tropical fruit that is not usually seen as an ingredient in commercial preserves. We source the starfruit from @KualoaGrown as well as our own starfruit tree @hawaiiurbangardener. The starfruit ripens very quickly after being harvested. Being able to use this fruit as a value added product creates a delicious alternative to a fruit that doesn’t have a long shelf life as a fresh product.

Mahalo for being part of our journey! We’re so excited to celebrate this win with our community.
