This last year was the year I truly became a mother. In every sense of the word. It was the year I walked away from the career I had built for so many years so I could be home with my babies. The year my world became smaller in some ways: fewer friendships, quieter weekends, less noise. But somehow, in all of that, my life became fuller than I ever could have imagined.

I spent my days raising my children, loving my husband, and making memories with the people who matter most. Somewhere between the endless list of things do to, I found a kind of happiness and peace that I didn’t know existed.

This past year has been one of the most beautiful, grounding, and stress-free seasons of my life. Sometimes I look around at the family we’ve built and the life we’ve created and genuinely wonder how I got this lucky.

Growing older feels a little less scary when I realize that so much of what I spent years searching for was waiting for me here all along. And as I step into 37, my heart has never been fuller. 🤍
