I like to travel in a balanced way. It could be probably cheaper to take a train from Malaga to El Chorro and do the Caminito del Rey📍trial by my own. Honestly, it would be nice to have a little bit more time to enjoy the place in a slow way, read a book, but this time I just wanted to safe my energy and time for planning so I choose @getyourguide & @aloratur option.

Some practical information:
💰Price 62€ (the entrance included, around 10€)
👷‍♀️For your safety is obligatory to wear a casquet
👟The trial takes between 2-3 h and it has about 8km length
🍹In the end you have a chill area where you can eat and drink

Gibraltar es uno de los choques culturales más extremos y fascinantes del mundo en apenas 6.8 kilómetros cuadrados. Cruzar su frontera es como viajar en el tiempo y el espacio:

El Camino del Desfiladero del Tajo en Ronda es un sendero de pasarelas suspendidas a los pies del río Guadalevín que permite contemplar el imponente Puente Nuevo desde abajo.

I actually have a driving licence. and I got it mostly because I wanted to be able to travel by car one day.

road trips are honestly a dream of mine.

but because I usually travel alone, I haven’t had enough experience driving yet to feel comfortable renting a car and going somewhere completely by myself.

so when I decided to visit Caminito del Rey after travelling almost 10 hours from Valencia by bus, I had to figure out how to actually get there.

I checked public transport, but the earliest train wouldn’t get me there in time for the entry slot on my ticket.

so my options were basically: don’t go, or find a tour.

I found one for €65, booked it, and honestly, I was so happy I did.

there’s something so relaxing about knowing that someone else has already figured everything out for you. the transport, the timing, the route… all you have to do is show up, take photos, enjoy the views and not worry about how you’re getting back.

so, solo travel isn’t always about doing everything yourself.

sometimes you can just delegate it, trust the professionals and spend a little more for a much more enjoyable experience.

and honestly? for me, that €65 was totally worth it.
