🎉 It’s Miles Davis’ birthday, May 26th 1926.🎂 I discovered his frenetic, cinematic, funky oddball 1983 album ‘Star People’ yesterday, and have been mesmerised ever since. He’s a brilliant artist who lives his words: “It’s all about style.”

I didn’t know what image to use, then recalled this 2013 painting of mine: Bolt. Its wild colours and black guy suit Miles’ music and his own artwork too. Happy Birthday Miles, your music has given me so much inspiration, and continues to do so! 🙌🌈✨

Artwork: Szabo (Jackson), D., 2013, Bolt, 23 x 36 cm, oil and acrylic on canvas.
