ALPFA UIUC | Professional Pillar

At ALPFA UIUC, we empower students to become future leaders through a strong emphasis on professional development.

During our Spring 2026 semester, our organization hosted a wide range of professional development workshops, including sessions focused on resume building and interview preparation. In addition, our two mentorship initiatives, ICT and Mentorship, provided underclassmen with valuable support systems to help guide them throughout their college experience at a predominantly white institution (PWI).
Our Corporate networking events feature companies such as KPMG, Abbvie, and Accenture. These events enabled members to gain insight into well-established companies while also discovering new opportunities. More importantly, they provided a platform for meaningful networking and the development of lasting professional relationships.

Our career-readiness resources are tailored to help members grow professionally and achieve their career goals. Whether you’re exploring your first internship or preparing for full-time opportunities, ALPFA UIUC provides the tools, community, and guidance to support your success in the business world and beyond!

ALPFA UIUC | Philanthropy Pillar

Giving back is at the heart of ALPFA UIUC. Through our philanthropic efforts, we aim to uplift and support the communities around us.

During the Spring 2026 semester, our organization actively gave back to the community through a variety of service initiatives. Highlights include volunteering locally with Salt & Light, organizing a collaborative hygiene donation drive in partnership with La Colectiva, and participating in the cleanup of our adopted highway at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Most importantly through our various fundraisers including our churro fundraiser and 7 Brew fundraiser we got the opportunity to give back to individuals within our community who were affected by ICE. Our members are dedicated to making a positive impact. We strive to instill a spirit of service and social responsibility, encouraging students to lead with compassion and create change beyond campus.
