Alpha Maid + Dylan Kerr & Madeline Stepien [14.10.]: silent green präsentiert: Auf ihrem neuen Album Is This a Queue verbindet Alpha Maid (@alpha_maid) experimentelle Gitarrenmusik mit Einflüssen aus Ambient, Dub und elektroakustischer Musik. Inspiriert von der Teilchenphysik feiert das Album die Magie des Unsichtbaren und all dessen, was sich unserem Verständnis entzieht. Über viele Jahre und an verschiedenen Orten entstanden, zeichnet es eine Reise durch Erinnerung und Zeit nach und erkundet die unterschiedlichen Arten, wie wir die Gegenwart erleben. // Die in New York City lebende Klangkünstlerin Madeline Stepien (@madeline_stepien) und Dylan Kerr (@dylan__kerr), Performancekünstler*in und Sänger*in aus Berlin, verbinden ihre künstlerischen Praktiken. Mithilfe verschiedener Methoden und Techniken erforscht Kerr psychoakustische Phänomene, während Stepien Kerrs Stimme und Instrumente in Echtzeit bearbeitet. Written across many years and different places, it traces a journey through memory, time, and the ways we experience the present. // NYC-based sound artist Madeline Stepien (@madeline_stepien) and Berlin-based performance artist and vocalist Dylan Kerr (@dylan__kerr) combine their practices. 🫀 𝗝𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗨𝗦 → 𝔄𝔩𝔭𝔥𝔞 𝔐𝔞𝔦𝔡 w/ Grouper ⟡ 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮 meets 𝔥𝔢𝔞𝔯𝔱𝔫𝔬𝔦𝔷𝔢 ⟡ Alpha Maid zastupuje aktuální britskou alternativu, která se nebojí čerpat z minulosti, ale vždy hledí vpřed. Londýnská hudebnice, která v Praze vystoupí sólově, debutovala v roce 2019 EP na labelu Curl Recordings, za kterým stojí Mica Levi, Coby Sey a Brother May. První plnohodnotné album Is This a Queue u značky AD93 ale přišlo až loni a bezezbytku naplnilo příslib kratších nahrávek. ⟡ Debutové LP připomene strohé kytarovky vycházející z postpunku i ty nejmlhavější polohy trip hopu, zároveň koření příležitostně a invenčně vokály autotunem. V jádru hudby je práce s kytarou a beaty. Alpha Maid ohýbá indierockové riffy a obohacuje je amorfními výboji, vrství jednotlivé složky na sebe a přidává elektroniku spíš jako znejistění než jako orientační prvek. Dezolátní nálada se pojí s flákačskou romantikou mezi zešedlými londýnskými řadovkami. 30 10 / Kostel sv. 🔊 The second CTM Festival × ICA 2026 night welcomes Alpha Maid (@alpha_maid). Slicing between shifting indie-punk landscapes, dub currents rooted in her Jamaican heritage, hazy emo textures and the grit of experimental noise, Alpha Maid’s sound explores the spaces between the familiar and the unknown. Inspired by a growing fascination with particle physics, her work is informed by the vast, unseen realms of possibility – the worlds that exist beyond what we can currently perceive. CONCERTS NIGHT BODEEK, RUE DE BIRMINGHAM 30, 1080 MOLENBEEK POWERED BY DOLORES SOUNDSYSTEM ❤️ @monabriko SEVERIN BLACK (UK) Aberystwyth-born, London-raised experimental musician - his music was recently described by a friend as improv Celtic grime. Severin explores woodwind instruments and soundsystem music, entwined with electronic sounds and feedbacks. He also curates the publishing label and event series Archaic Vaults, fostering community around experimental music and collaborating with peers such as Pavel Milyakov, Vanessa Bedoret and Chantal Michelle. ALPHA MAID (UK) Guitarist, vocalist and songwriter from South East London, Alpha Maid recently released an LP entitled 'Is this a queue' on AD93. The album was written across many years and different places, weaving grunge layers with dubbed out sounds, along with sung or spoken words - her music pulls softness into thick noisy textures, and beautifully drives emotions into deep. Alpha Maid is also part of exp-rock band Spresso, with Mica Levi and Zach Toppin. POLIDO (PORTUGAL) Musician and artist from Marinha Grande. From a materialist approach to sound, Polido works across questions of cultural memory, tradition,  sound technology, and junctures of music history and socio-politics.  The music, bound together by a personal vocabulary, assembles surreal narratives for concrete spaces. The work emerges in the form of concerts, mixes, performance, texts, talks, listening sessions or installation.
