Had an opportunity to take some of the 5” 2011s out today. Ports only, no comps.
Today’s stars are the @alphaamericanfirearms #raider @cardinal.arms #g2p @fowlerindustries #vanta9ported and the love child of @kimberamerica @alphaamericanfirearms #dswarrior
The Cardinal took the W with the tightest groups, fastest follow-ups and best overall feel. I’m a fanboy I guess and really want to get my hands on a non-ported G2I next!
The steel grips on the Raider and Vanta 9 make those platform sit well in your hands but the dot has more movement than the G2P. The DS Warrior can’t hang in overall performance. It’s much softer but follow ups are not fast. Regardless, it’s just awesome to shoot!

WE’RE GROWING & AAF IS HIRING!

Alpha American Firearms is growing, and we’re looking for a few great people to join our team in Northwest Arkansas.

We are currently hiring for three full-time positions:

Experienced 1911/2011 Gunsmith
We’re looking for an experienced gunsmith with a strong understanding of the 1911/2011 platform, precision fitting, troubleshooting, targeting, and quality control.

Firearms Production Technician
This position will help keep our production process moving—from receiving and sorting components to inspecting parts, cleaning completed firearms, organizing finishing batches, packaging, and shipping. This is also a great opportunity for someone interested in learning additional gunsmithing and firearm production skills.

Firearms Finishing Prep Technician
We’re looking for someone extremely detail-oriented to inspect and prepare firearm components for finish, including media blasting, cleaning, surface preparation, identifying imperfections, and making sure every component is ready before it goes out for coating.

Gunsmithing experience is NOT required for the Production or Finishing Prep positions. Mechanical ability, attention to detail, organization, and a willingness to learn are more important to us.

We build premium, American-made 1911/2011 pistols, and we’re looking for people who take pride in their work and want to grow with us.
