THE SHIP DISAPPEARS

The ship was miles out at sea when it happened.

The lights flickered.

Then the screams started.

Something had come aboard.

Spirits moved through the ship, passengers panicked, and crew members disappeared from their posts. Some passengers vanished too.

Then, without warning, the ship began sailing into the darkness.

No one was steering.

No one could stop it.

And then...

it disappeared.

The next thing Dayla knew, she was waking up on a shoreline.

She looked around.

Budda. Kappa. Buttercup. Makhaila. King. Raw.

Alive.

But confused.

Dayla squinted at the water.

DAYLA: “...Did that just happen?!”

BUDDA: “Yeah. That happened.”

KAPPA: “Gahdamn... the ship really just spit us out.”

BUTTERCUP: “Yeah... that was some spooky ish.”

Makhaila stared out at the water.

MAKHAILA: “Wait... where's the ship?”

King slowly stood up.

KING: “That's the problem. We watched it disappear.”

Raw looked around at the unfamiliar shoreline.

RAW: “And where the hell are we?”

Nobody knew.

And even worse...

Not everyone made it to shore.

Some passengers were missing.

Some of the crew were missing.

For the next ten months, authorities searched the ocean.

Boats covered miles of water.

Helicopters flew overhead.

They searched the coastline and surrounding waters.

But there was nothing.

No wreckage.

No debris.

No sign of the ship.

It was as if the ocean had swallowed the entire vessel.

Months later, there was still no explanation.

No ship.

No answers.

And no idea where the missing passengers and crew had gone.... by @alphakaidelta.sl
