A pair of shoes can be the beginning of something bigger. 👟🇹🇿

Earlier this year, through our partnership with ATUZA, we provided 100 pairs of school shoes to students at Nzasa Primary School in Dar es Salaam.

But the impact goes beyond the shoes. It’s about what becomes possible when organizations, communities, and people come together with a shared purpose.

We’re grateful to @atuza_ , our partners, volunteers, supporters, and everyone who continues to show up and believe in this work. Progress is built through collective effort.

As part of the @thebal Advance Cohort, we’re applying what we’re learning about sustainability, strategic partnerships, and scaling impact to strengthen the way Shoes For Tanzania grows and serves communities.

Our vision is to take moments like this and build something lasting from them. Reaching more schools, creating more access, and opening more pathways for young people across Tanzania.

More schools. More partnerships. More opportunity. Greater impact. 🇹🇿

Special thank you to @joeviews_ for capturing this journey and bringing the story to life. 🎥 taken in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania by @alphakisusi

What started as an idea became impact.

For two unforgettable days, rising athletes from across Tanzania came together with one purpose, to grow, compete, learn, and chase something bigger than themselves.

This was never just about basketball. It was about discipline, confidence, opportunity, and showing the next generation what’s possible when passion meets purpose.

Special appreciation to @justinalliman for his shared commitment to helping elevate basketball in Tanzania.

A special thank you to every coach who poured into the players, every supporter who believed in the vision, every volunteer who gave their time, and everyone who showed up and helped make this camp memorable . Special thank you to @joeviews_ for capturing these moments and helping bring this vision to life.

Watching the students at Nzasa Primary School receive their new shoes was a reminder that something small can carry so much meaning, confidence, pride, and the belief that their future truly matters.

Each pair represents more than just shoes. It represents dignity, opportunity, and the courage for these young students to walk into school with confidence and hope.

We are deeply grateful for our partnership with @atuza_ and for everyone who continues to support this mission and believe in the power of community.

Together we are helping create steps toward a brighter future. 🇹🇿 ✨ taken in Tanzania by @alphakisusi
