I’m not as good with words as Osman, so I’ll keep this short. First off I want to say my brother is one of the most caring and selfless people I know. I tell him all the time he should be a little more selfish because a lot of the people he pours himself into don’t deserve him. We’ve been through a lot together. Before the art, before the ambitions, it was just the two of us trying to make sense of the world.

From Sierra Leone to Boston, our lives have been shaped by movement, loss, survival, and reinvention. This piece is a thank you to that journey. This piece is not about one of us carrying the other it’s about growing side by side and carrying pieces of each other wherever life takes us. To me that’s what being my brother’s keeper really means.

Now it means even more that this piece has been selected for exhibition at Agora Gallery in New York City as part of the 40th Chelsea International Fine Art Competition Collective Exhibition. And we’re just getting started. We still have so much more to create, and so much more to give, I can’t wait to see what we achieve!! 🤗🤗

I could do my own research and find out if what he said is true but as an American citizen that’s just not the way. I believe him 😤 by @alphalfa_af
