It’s that time of year where I bake a cake and give thanks to the one person in my life as a youth that understood and modeled unconditional love. I fancied myself too cool to endorse pop music but she absolutely loved this song so I play it every year. Happy Birthday G.J. My love for you is eternal! 🎂 by @alphasalterethos

If you love Revolution, if you love Women do yourself a favor and watch this film. While tuning into @rootsrockreggaetakomaradio yesterday DJ Ebony dropped the Marcia Griffith anthem “Peaceful Woman” which was used in the film and prompted me to rewatch after many years. Underrated and way ahead of its time. 🔥✊🏽🫶🏼✌🏼 by @alphasalterethos
