Senior Spotlight - Jake Prout

Jake is from Canfield, Ohio. Jake has been apart of the chapter since Fall ‘22. He has served as our Risk Chair. As Risk, Jake played a key role in keeping the Chapter safe, organized, and accountable. Allowing a balance for our Brothers to have fun but also stay safe.

His favorite ASig memory was coming back from Italy right to a date party and seeing all the guys after being away for a semester. “Great way to come back with everyone. Hangin out, and getting active”. Jake’s advice to the younger guys is that you don’t need to have a position to be an impact in the Chapter. Show up to as much as you can and enjoy it while it lasts!

Senior Spotlight - Ben Kochanek

Ben is from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Ben has been apart of the chapter since Fall ‘24. He currently serves multiple positions such as, VP of Growth (recruitment) and Social Director. As Recruitment Chair, Ben has played a key role in building the future of the Chapter by connecting with and bringing in new members who align with our fraternity’s values. As Social Director, Ben has planned a good amount of Mixers & Date Parties! Which create memorable events that help strengthen our own brotherhood. As well as our connections with other Fraternities & Sororities

His favorite ASig memory is Formal ‘25 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. “Having fun with everyone, doing tastings, can’t beat it”. Ben’s advice to the younger guys is to stay active, it makes for a better experience. Also, enjoy it while it lasts because it goes quick.

Ben is double majoring in Finance and Accounting, and after he graduates is working at a Public Accounting Firm!!
