Happiness. A moment for you to reflect and engage on my page. What does happiness mean for you?

This was written over a three day trip in Helsinki. Ever-changing, boundless, in the now.

Share your thoughts.

I’m hoping to write, engage and build a community on my page.

*It’s not a deck of cards*

This prose is inspired by conversations with WO(men) I’ve crossed paths with navigating modern dating. When the paradox of choice is crippling. — Mostly emotionally unavailable; in fact, emotionally disabled. Basic respect leaves the building, and solace in conversation starts to feel a little like comparing notes. Straight. Real. No games.

A lot on my mind half the time,
but it doesn’t cost a dime
to let my mind rewind
to what’s mine.

The blessings in disguise,
the moments that caught me by surprise, the people, the setbacks,
the steps forward.

The mountain tops
and the chocolate drops.
All in God’s time, I realise.
Mine.

The girl on the train in the Netherlands.

Moving through a modern world, anchored in timeless values.

Thinking fast and slow.

Slow, steady, sudden.

Always worth the wait.

Paradoxical Thoughtfulness, a poem written by me. People are quick to judge, rarely critical. There are many poets, but not that many writing poetry. I believe it’s the poetry that keeps us alive. - Nishkah Swart taken in The Netherlands by @alphastate_art
