I have some extra flower magic to share this week 🌸

My dahlias are blooming their hearts out right now, and I have more beautiful flowers than I know what to do with. So I’d love to use a little of that abundance to brighten someone’s day.

I’m giving away five petite bouquets to five local people who could use a little pick-me-up. 🤍

If someone comes to mind, send me a DM with their first name and a little bit about why you’d love to surprise them. Nothing deeply personal needs to be shared.

I’ll choose five recipients, and the person nominating them will just need to pick up the bouquet in Lehi and deliver it to them. 🌸

September in the cutting garden 🌸

The flowers are still going strong, but fall cleanup is officially starting and I have a few projects underway as I start getting the garden ready for next season.

In the meantime, I’m offering grower’s choice dahlia buckets and bundles while the garden is still producing — perfect for anyone wanting a little bit of late-season color. 🤍

This is what August looks like in the garden!
One of my favorite things about creating with home grown flowers is that no two arrangements are ever exactly alike. And somehow, whatever I harvest and whatever I create that day, always end up being my favorites. by @alpine_blooms

There’s something so satisfying about turning a bucket of freshly cut flowers into a bouquet. Harvesting isn’t just cutting flowers—it’s choosing the right blooms, colors, textures, and stages of opening so they come together into something balanced and long-lasting.

I’m currently loving this variegated greenery and of course, the lisianthus .

Project number 1: This area will be a mixture of flowers bed and raised beds. As much as I’d love to rip up everything and just do rows of flowers, I’m just not sure that it will be what I want in the long run. Another beautiful, beginner-friendly dahlia is Gitts Attention. It’s extremely versatile and prolific, producing abundant blooms throughout the season and generous tubers at the end of it. I love how the fringed petals add an extra layer of texture and interest to bouquets and arrangements.

Beginning my dahlia divide. First up is a Cafe Au Lait. I currently have over 30 tubers of this beauty. She is considered a dinner plate variety and she ranges in color from creams and pinks. She is truly a favorite. Message me if you’re interested in tubers!
