VICAR STREET โ€“ OCT 9 ๐ŸŽ‰ Another one? Sure, why not. A BIG one! Iโ€™ve bills to pay, chicken! ๐Ÿคฃ๐ŸŽซ ๐ŸŽ‰ Iโ€™m absolutely buzzing to announce one final Vicar Street performance of ALGORITHM and this time weโ€™re bringing an EIGHT-PIECE SHOW BAND! ๐ŸŽบ๐Ÿฅ๐ŸŽน After 50+ theatre dates, ALGORITHM has become more than I ever dreamed it could be. If I was my pal Joanne McNally, I could keep doing it for two years, but I think ALMOST everyone who wants to see it has! ๐Ÿ˜‚ But every audience shapes a show, so if you caught it in Vicar Street last year, a year of touring later itโ€™s a different beast altogether. So for ONE last night, Iโ€™m throwing everything at it! The best bits, the biggest laughs, a few new surprises, and a proper end-of-tour party with the band. My pals The Sugar Cubes, the go-to band for Joe Dolan, Dickie Rock and Johnny Logan... and now me. What a decline! ๐Ÿคฃ God knows I have a past, but nine years since rock bottom, Iโ€™m still here, trying to be the best version of myself. Iโ€™m proud that this tour and my Alโ€™s Pals have raised thousands for brilliant charities across Ireland and weโ€™ll know the final number for that on the night! Iโ€™ll go into all those charities in another post soon ๐Ÿ˜ƒ The irony is that while I might not be at my โ€œhottest ticketโ€ moment, itโ€™s been the best stand-up Iโ€™ve ever done and the best reviews Iโ€™ve ever had. Chortle called it โ€œgloriously uplifting, joyous, irrepressible stand-up storytelling.โ€ And I think theyโ€™re right, chicken! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Thank you to everyone who made this such a fun tour and helped make this show about people, real life, and heart, and not screens and scrolling. ALGORITHM is the most fun I've ever had, no question! We're touring all over Ireland, adding new dates left and right, and I'm soaking up every moment! Crisscrossing the country with my mates, performing at top-notch theatres, and meeting incredible people along the way โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿซถ. It's music to my ears when people say it's the best show they've seen me in โ€“ guess I'm improving with age ๐Ÿคฃ.
