I was born with a hole in my heart and had surgery when I was a baby but it hasn’t stopped me from doing jiujitsu.
Thank you to all my competitors, coaches, teammates and supporters for helping me be who I am today. #xcmma#jiujitsu#yellowwhitebelt#chdwarrior by @alston.ly

It was great to meet and compete against a fellow #hmong brother @alston.ly . Hopefully, we can train together someday. Let me know if you ever come up to MN. Keep grinding.

The Battle of Valhalla- 2 day tournament.
He went out there and performed so well the last two days. The best I’ve ever seen. The grit and all the hardwork he’s been putting into wrestling is paying off!

He ended up losing in the semi finals against a kid who was just a little stronger by points. That loss fueled him even more to get 3rd place. Winning 3rd place was so gratifying this time considering he lost to the kid before by being in his own head. Beyond proud of him! Once he puts everything together, he’s going to be a monster!
6-2, 5pins, 1Tech. Record: 21-8.

JV Zones, here he comes….lets get it kid! by @alston.ly
