Join @alt.major for ‘Looking Tapes’👀📼 — an analogue photo walk hosted by renowned local film photographer @ryanheywood as part of @lavaartsfestival.Looking Tapes invites film enthusiasts to explore the streets of Murwillumbah, capturing unique and candid moments on film. Designed as a relaxed social experience, the walk is a chance to connect with like-minded creatives while receiving feedback and practical tips from seasoned analogue heads.Participants are encouraged to slow down, observe, and shoot with intention.Ryan will also speak briefly on the concept of “looking” and the importance of presence in observation.To finish the walk, save two frames from your roll and step into the Alt Major studio for a guided portrait shoot using a simple studio lighting setup.Open to all skill levels (BYO camera and film)— come along, shoot, learn, and meet other creatives.
